My daughter and I stayed here three nights after wrapping up a week touring Bavaria. The room was good - nothing to rave about but nothing to criticize either. We didn’t spend too much time here so it didn’t matter much. I liked the shower. Europe sometimes doesn’t have good water pressure or they don’t have a shower curtain - just a half a wall that invariably leaves water on the floor when you’re done. This one had a shower curtain and a good, strong stream of hot water, just what the doctor ordered after walking all day My major complaint was the breakfast. It’s not good. It’s mostly continental with just boiled eggs. If I ran the place, I would spring for a hot plate and fry some eggs or omelettes so you could have something hot for breakfast

I am a guest in Admiral since many years; a small cozy hotel near City Center and Deutsches Museum. Recently (early this year, I presume) it changed ownership and management. No improvement; On the contrary; Breakfast used to be better and more bio oriented; there were fruits in the room; gone; Bathrooms need upgrade; It is still a nice place to go; but could at least become what it was

The photos are misleading: the rooms are dull brown and beige; the light bulbs are 40 watt. Even with three or four lights turned on, it is impossible to read a book, or anything else, with that little light. The staff is great. Breakfast is very good, but I would not stay here again.

Hotel its ok location, room is big, wifi working well well also. Breakfast is bit disapoint yes its "lot" of products but like "real" food its small selections and price when i stay its bit over rated for sure.

We stayed at the Admiral for two nights and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient hotel. Only, a few blocks from the Isartor S bahn and the Viktualmrkt, it was easy to walk everywhere or hop a train to get anywhere in the city. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and although the rooms were a little on the dated side they were clean and well-kept and we enjoyed being able to sit in the lounge and relax after long days walking the city. The included breakfast buffet was amazing and is not to be missed.

We stayed here for three nights while attending Oktoberfest. It is located just across the river from the Deutches museum. And it is only about a 10 minute walk to Marienplatz. Frankly it took a couple of tries before we determine the quickest way to get there. The staff were extremely nice. All spoke very good English. We came home late one night and wanted a nightcap. The night hotel manager was kind enough to not only open the bar for us but prepare a snack as well. The room was large and well appointed. My only complaint would be that the parking is about a block away. It was easy to get from the hotel to the Munich airport. Highly recommend this for anyone traveling to Munich.

198 euro per night in this mint condition of the room (mattress is worn out, bend to the middle, carpet is filthy....) without complimentary water, (without) free minibar, no english tv channels, no tea/coffee making facilities, no iron, no nothing. Breakfast looks nice with few different cut fruits and other little things but pretty much for women, no warm meals. If the price was 98 euro, it would still be expensive but tolerable, however 198 Euro is simply way overpriced, a "crime" I'd say. Insanely expensive in this small, outdated, rundown hotel. They are shamelessly taking advantage of the guests in a city like Munich. Ridiculous!

Very good localization and wonderful breakfast (fresh fruits and tasty juice). Single room is small and there is bath instead of shower, also very helpfull staff. I can truly recommend this hotel. I was there two times and every time I am totaly satisfied.

I stayed there for a weekend trip to Munich, never been there before. The owner was so friendly, had many tipps for sightseeing and evening entertainment. The breakfast was tasty. My room was well decorated and very clean. I can highly recommend this hotel, als well as Munich, too!

We had 4 warm nights at the Admiral. Very clean, wonderful breakfast with so many choices and 2 blocks from the action packed part of town. Very close to transportation and hundreds of restaurants. You really can't go wrong. This won't be a "hip" place that some need but if you want to relax and enjoy peace in a busy city, it's perfect.
