A great place! It was close to the centre of Munich but in what seemed a residential area. It had a lovely garden in which one can sit and take breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Admiral! The hotel was very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, quiet, safe, had an impressive breakfast included, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again without hesitation during another visit to Munich. If you can, get a room with a balcony, and you will wake up each morning with a view of the beautiful private garden below and church bells ringing in the distance. The hotel is a gem!

The room wasn’t bad; however, it would have been nice to have some TV channels available in English as well. Room service cleaned our room only halfway. A blanket was left wadded up on the floor and pillows piled on an end table, it looked like they did a half way job and just left. The hotel is on a VERY busy street next to a school and it stays noisy for a long time into the night and is only quiet for a few hours before the school kids make it noisy again. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear noises from the other rooms all night. We were told breakfast was from seven until ten in the morning, but when we went down at seven we saw a sign that said it was 7:30-10:30 A.M. Since we had an early flight we had to leave before breakfast started. It was pretty disappointing and although the price was good and location convenient, I probably wouldn’t book again.

Charming and cozy, quiet area, somewhat basic

Charming and comfortable hotel. Good location in a quiet street and generally quiet area, but within walkable distance to many places of interest, shops, and restaurants. No parking in the building, but they offer validation for a covered parking garage not far. Breakfast is very basic, but the quality is good. Staff are friendly and polite, but check-in and check-out can be really slow, as it's a relatively manual process and there is only one person/computer to do it. The elevator is also quite slow, but in my stay I didn't face any upsetting delays. The room is clean, comfortable and good in size, although there is no place to put the suitcase if you don't want to fully unpack. In general, I had a very nice stay and I would book this hotel again if I need to stay in the area.

Cosy and lovely people!

Lovely people all very friendly and helpful. The feel of the hotel is family run but very nice. The breakfast was great and the room lovely and warm (it's December) I would recommend for a winter weekd stay!

Good location - only a short walk away from the main hustle and bustle of the Aldstadt and Christmas Market. Poor facilities in the room - no fridge, no tea or coffee making facilities and only one bottle of water for the three nights. Staff were nice.

The staff was exceptional we arrived in Munich at 7:40 am our check in was not untill 3:00 pm.The Staff cleaned room for us and we where able to get some much need sleep by 10:00 am.
