Stayed of four nights. Room was clean and had a fridge and safe and free wifi. Also came with towelling robes. Bathroom was fine, good water pressure for the shower, soap and shampoo/shower gel supplied. Room also had a small balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was excellent. No cooked items other than boiled eggs but a fantastic selection of fresh fruit, cereals, bread, cold salad items such as potato salad, egg mayonnaise, cheese and ham. As someone trying to be as vegan as possible I found plenty to eat. The staff where very cheerful and helpful. The hotel location was great in a very quite side street but only five minutes walk to the nearest train station and 10 - 15 minutes walk from the tourist centre of Munich
We stayed here for two nights. We arrived to the hotel in the morning, around 10 am, and were able to check in. The room was clean and offered plenty of space for two people. The breakfast that was included was delicious. We were on the street side and did have a little bit of noise, but nothing intrusive. The location was great, in that we were able to walk to the train station and city center. There was free wifi, a small safe provided and the staff was friendly.
A small German hotel tucked away on a back street near the old German Patent Office and the German Museum. Old world charm in the rooms and throughout the hotel with a great breakfast included. What's nice is if it's warm out you can eat on the terrace. They do have a bar for night caps. Service is great, the rooms are neat, clean and quiet and staff is quite knowledgeable and willing to help on travel tips, locations, restaurant bookings, etc. It's an easy walk to the S line (subway) and quick 15 walk from the Marienplatz. Check it out next time your in Munich.
German luxury: Everything works but so dull. Everything what you need is there, but no personality.... But you know maybe it is what we need. Only thing which were designed and nicely arranged were lobby bar (which were closet all the time) and breakfast. In breakfast china were very nice... It is hotel which works well.
My family and I spotted this hotel during one of our walks through this particular neighborhood in Munich. We were eager to someday try out the hotel. This past month on a family city trip, we spent only one night here. It was a very nice experience. There is just something special about staying in a family-run boutique hotel. First of all, the location is perfect -- situated in-between the Deutsches Museum and the old town. Many sites and transit stations are only a five-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel serves a very nice traditional breakfast and has a couple of nice gathering areas, including an outdoor patio/garden. The decor and furnishings are tasteful with a hint of vintage charm, and everything is spotless. The hotel staff, most of whom I believe are part of the family, go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. As a minor side note, their underground parking garage is temporarily out of service; however, they provide several spaces in front of the hotel for unloading and a designated and secure parking service just around the corner.
Hotel Admiral is a boutique hotel pretty close (walking distance) to the Viktualien Markt and Marienplatz. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was very good - felt like at home and it was possible to ask for different coffees (espresso, cappuccino etc.) The garden looked something I would enjoy very much. Unfortunately it was November, no chance to sit outside. Overall - a nice small hotel.
Lovely hotel, great atmosphere and central location (It is an easy walk from Isator station and ten mins in foot to Marienplatz). The rooms are spacious and clean. Thoughtful touches. Really great breakfast with lots of fruit.
The staff was great and very informative and helpful. The breakfast was a plus but not used to European breakfast. Was like having a tea party and lunch for breakfast. But their culture not a negative. The only negative for price paid was no English speaking TV and was the big election so were kept in the dark. Stayed at hotels for a lot less in other cities in other coountries and they all had English speaking news and TV. Great location for walking to several great sites and shopping.
The hotel is nicely located close to the city center, and is cozy. But I could tell that the previous owner was no longer there. It starts with the small details around the breakfast table... he is simply no longer there.... I will be back soon and depending on how I feel I might go back again or look for alternatives.
Perfect location, conveniently close to the town hall. Nice room to the courtyard. Excellent service and a superb breakfast, with a great choice of fresh fruit! Thank you, Kevin Vogt and your friendly team
