We booked this room for a college orientation at Ball State. The room's TV was not working and when I reported it to the front desk, the girl who was working (who looked and acted about 17) offered no help. There were not enough towels or blankets either and when I asked for more it was like I was asking for a kidney.
Staff was very nice and easy to check in. Hotel and room was clean and nice. I would recommend this hitel
This is our favorite place to stay when visiting our Indiana relatives with our pet. My wife's only concern was the existence of an occasional spider, but otherwise everything else was fine.
The bed was not comfortable at all. I had back pain for a week after. The bathroom sink was backed up and had hair in it that my husband had to removed the plug and pull out the hair to allow the sink to drain. There were unsavory characters there.
The property does need some updating. The room was clean except for the sticky spot my foot kept stepping in. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I would probably stay there again if I come that way. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Noisy hotel - housekeeping staff gather at one of the hall and slam doors (let them bounce on stoppers) all morning in what appeared to be a "hang out room." Foul language. Not all rooms have refrigerators. Was put in a room at the far end of the hotel without a frig even though the hotel was very, very empty.
The bathroom needed cleaning upon arriving. Hskp came up right away and cleaned; apologized and was very nice - wanted to know if there was anything else she could do for us. We didn't notice until she was gone that thee front of microwave was covered in fingerprints. We had no intention of using it and since she had came so quickly for the bathroom, we didn't bother her again. The cabinet that held the TV was very dusty. All in all, the room was not at all what I expected. We've stayed at several other Days Inn and it was nothing like this one; to say nothing of the fact the price more than doubled from the time I started booking until I completed the transaction!
It was fine, very clean. Stayed there because it was pet-friendly. But it was strange being on the 2nd floor and there not being an elevator. You have to carry everything up the stairs.
There was always someone available to help. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was always ready, hot and fresh!
In starting to book our room the rates went from @127 for 2 nights to #313..... When we arrived in room, our bathroom needed cleaning... the tub clearly had NOT been cleaned. Microwave was dirty - smears and fingerprints on the door. The beds appeared to have been made up, but I actually checked further to see if that had happened or it just looked like it had been done. There was dust on top of our headboard to bed that had clearly been there for sometime.. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have the coffee maker in room; but I would NEVER stay there again! The clerk at the desk was very friendly and accommodating and had she actually cleaned the bathroom once I called the desk.. I believe the rates were more than doubled the normal rate due to graduation at college.I just checked rates for later this month - $55 per night!
