Windham reservation system made the reservation for the wrong day and billed me as no show. Had to go thru credit card co. to correct. Cost much less as a walk in than the reservation. No problem with hotel but will NEVER use Windham reservations again.
We killed a bug in the sink, another in the bathtub, and another on the nightstand between the beds. YUK!!!
The room was great except for loud kids across the way and the breakfast sucked with the crowd that was there. The kids that were there were rude and no common respect for other people waiting in line. no food was there when we needed breakfast. not to happy with that.
Hotel cleanliness was lacking, mold & dirt in restroom. Room had cobwebs in corners & some dirt in floor. Everything else was satisfactory. Hate that you have to slam the doors to get them to shut!! This kept waking us up during the night!!!
Was given a room at the opposite end of the motel from the lobby. Could not send nor receive email there. Had to go to the breakfast area tor Internet access. Won't return if they can't guarantee 'net access.
Bathroom was dirty. Bathtub was very dirty and had hair in it. We were told that the room would have a refrigerator- it did but it did NOT work. When asked for assistance, we were told that Bathroom floor was sticky and dirty. Bathtub had scum and hair in it. Toilet seat was broken. We called before booking to inquire about a refrigerator so we could bring our own food - refrigerator did NOT work. When we called the front desk for assistance, we were told they had no one to fix refrigerator and no one to clean at the time and all rooms were booked. When I tried to address our concerns at checkout, the person would not answer me. Tried to speak to person about checkout about the concerns
Room appeared clean when arrived but found part of choc bar under edge of bed. Found splatter of pink 'something' on back side of shower curtain once in the shower. Room does not have microwave or fridge. Towels were of good quality and bed was comfortable. Location was convenient.
We have stayed at Days Inn for years. Never had a problem like the one we experienced on the 11th and 12th of this month. When I was checking in, there was two women complaining about their room. They found three frozen pops in their freezer, Housekeepers had not cleaned out. They informed the clerk they would not be staying there anymore. We were given room 224. Sheets had not been changed, bread crumb under top sheet, all wrinkled. The air vents are filthy. Top of air vents have a black mold look on them, we cleaned them, have a picture of wash cloth we cleaned them with black. Ice cream left in our freezer from last customers. We call office, they put us in room 226. We stayed in this room, but it had a sour odor. Sunday we aired it out by opening window and our door, it did help. The sheets looked clean. The commode top and seat was dirty, crumbs in floor, empty Gatorade bottle in floor behind big chair, empty water bottle in window seal, and again air vents are filthy and a black mold look on air vents, we clean those also. We have family in Muncie and always liked staying at this Days Inn, but I can't go back there until someone can get Housekeeper that will clean room good. They treated us very nice after complaining and helped us. I have pictures of black washcloth after cleaning air vents, dust really thick behind and beside table in between beds, and dirty mirror smeared, black build-up in two corners of bathroom. I would love to send these picture to someone who cares. They need to go check in and have a look. Don't know when I will go back. Thanks for letting me sound off.
The microwave didn't work because there was no dials on the appliance and the coffee maker didn't work at all and leaked the water I put into the resevoire onto the desk.
Excellent as always. Days Inn offers exceptional value for your money. Staff was helpful and courteous. Rooms clean and tidy.
