Park Plaza Trier

Park Plaza Trier is a very nice hotel, very close to the old center. I had a superior room, which was nice, but not very spacious. It had bathrobes and slippers, to use in the wellness center. It also had an electric kettle, that you had to put on the floor using, because there was the only wall socket available. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast a bit disappointing for a luxury hotel. No freshly made eggs and not a lot of variaty in bread and the assorted fruit seemed mostly apple. It seemed there where hardly enough tables for all the guests to eat, especially if the weather is nog good enough to have breakfast outside on the patio (which is very nice to have your breakfast).

A quick and welcoming check-in, parking in a garage with direct access to the hotel. Great breakfast, all you can wish for and more! Close to everything in Trier. Loved the interior design! An annoying light from the bathroom (glass door!) which reflected in the mirror in the hall and lit up the beds is the only thing stopping me from giving this hotel 5/5. Woke us up every time one of us went to the bathroom. An architectural blooper perhaps. All in all highly recommendable!

I recently had a very pleasant two night stay in this hotel in Trier. The hotel is well appointed ,comfortable and with friendly professional staff. It is well situated in the centre of this very old city and is ideal for exploring the many historic sites.

In the middle of everything, but quiet by night in room. Did not try the food, but the restaurant appeared fancy. Good bar. HC room terrible. A bit to smelly carpets in the hallways. Worth a stay anyway.

This was rated the best hotel in the city I believe, and it fits the bill for at least a soft 4 or upper 3 star level. Aside from the great location, I liked the entrance which had a nod to history and a bit of a museum feel to it showcasing the local Roman past. The room also had a Roman bust in it, which is a first for decoration we have experienced. The negatives which came to mind were the paid breakfast didn't appeal to me, so I went out for one instead. Upon check-out I had been charged for it, but this was fixed quickly. Otherwise I found this a fairly unmemorable stay.

it was an amazing experience. Really good staff. Probably just be improved parking facilities: I think the hotel should provide a special price in parking by clients. In the other hand ellness was fantastic, congratulations. Roof terrace and comun areas are incredible too.

I was very unhappy with the service I received in Park Plaza Trier. The front desk staff were unhelpful and certainly did not make me welcome. Although I had a booking for a twin room (Occupancy 2 Adults as shown in my reservation), they handed me a bill for second guest surcharge. They were not receptive to my polite explanation and did not do anything to help.

The Park Plaza exceeded expectations on the final leg of a Eurobike tour. This was a great refuge from rain and tired bones. Breakfast buffet was great, variety and selection generous. Dinner was interesting. Seasonal variety and combinations to excite the palate.

We stayed at the Park Plaza overnight when travelling to Italy. We wanted to explore Trier & were looking for a central location. This hotel was perfect and it was a very short walk to all the interesting features of this ancient town. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious & plentiful. Overall, a great place to stay.

It is always a pleasure to return to thisHotel, which is in thevery center of trier. Staff is in general quite friendly and helpful, the job done by Mrs. Katarina Steimann however is outstanding and very efficient.
