We loved our visit to Savoy! The staff was very kind. We stayed on the fifth floor (top level). The restaurant on the second floor is beautiful! Will definitely recommend.

Great experience overall! We stayed in this hotel twice, back in May 2014 and now, in December. Hotel building is a historical landmark, located in a short walk distance to red square, Bolwoi theatre, subway, which is really important with crazy moscow traffic. Nice and friendly staff is always there for you, ready to help. Clean rooms, recently remodeled - fresh paint, curtains, carpet. Great veriaty of choices for breakfast and inroom dining, has some delicious russian dishes.

The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are clean.

I have stayed 5 different hotels in Moscow and this is the best one. The hotel is designed according to traditions. So fancy! I love it. It was clean, tidy and the location is also great just few minute walking from red square. Metro station is also very close to the hotel. Hotel staff is friendly and so helpful. My 3 nights in this hotel were absolutely great. The only bad thing about the hotel is that there is different woman sitting at the loby every evenings and she is waiting for her customers. Except that everything is perfect in the hotel.

Very nice hotel, nice pool, good breakfast. It was a little noisy because of a construction going on across the street at night but it wasn't too bad. Overall very positive experience, would stay there again, walking distance to everything.

I visited Moscow for the Victory Day parade and celebrations. The Savoy is the perfect location for sightseeing attractions in downtown Moscow (Red Square, Kremlin, The Bolshoi Theater, et cetera)

Excellent, perfect location, buatiful hotel ,very good breakfast ,

Amazing, Fantastic and Far Exceeded Expectations. From checking in, to swimming in the great big pool, to the phenomenal breakfast (included in room price), to Helena at the Concierge Desk with helpful tips and hints about the city in English to the AMAZING Julia at the Front Desk.....My wife loved the candies at the front desk. The night before we checked out, Julia gave my wife a Present. She had gone out on her own and bought my wife a bag of the very same candies......Thanks Savoy and Julia.....You made Moscow feel like home and made a couple new friends in America. I recently returned from Moscow where I stayed at the Savoy Hotel. The hotel was excellent from location, room size and comfort to service. To begin, the location was right in the middle of city, about 6 blocks from the Kremlin. It was also located 1 block away from the pink line and 1 1/2 blocks away from the red line. This was very crucial for us because Taxi service in Moscow is very pricey. The hotel was very beautiful. The lobby was as grand as it looked in it's pictures. The bar was open at any time for food and drinks and the bartenders were always very nice and friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean and had a large bathroom with extra's included like bathrobes, slippers, complimentary water and chocolates daily. The best was the service, from the front desk to room service, everyone was always willing to go the extra length to help in anyway. The price of hotels in Moscow are very expensive so for the price that I was able to get , it was a great value. I totally recommend this hotel. Also, I had read some reviews about construction across the street being an issue, this was not the case during the days I was there. Construction was not done at night and if they did, I could not hear a thing and my room was locate right across from the construction.

The hotel is located on a 2 lane street about 4 blocks from Red Square. There is a pedestrian mall about 1 block away and numerous restaurants and high-end shopping stores nearby. The neighborhood is safe and their are several metro stops nearby. The Bolshoi theater is about 3 blocks away. The people at the hotel front desk are friendly and gave good suggestions about nearby restaurants and timely wake-up calls. The rooms are beautifully appointed and were kept perfectly clean and tidy by the maid service. One downside was that my room had a view of nearby apartments rather than something more interesting. The internet was free and I used it to catch up on some work in the evenings even though I was on vacation. I did not use the hotel restaurant but it provides fine dining.

The Savoy is located near the center of Moscow. Red Square, Kremlin, and the bolshoi are all a short walk away. This area is very pricey but I got a great deal through .... (Traveling on the weekend in early December greatly helped the price point.) The breakfast was very robust and tasty! You are also a short walk to 2 Metro stops.

Having been to Moscow 10 times for tourism, this was a first time stay at Savoy since my previous favorite lodging's rates have skyrocketed recently. Location is centrally convenient, 2 minutes on foot to the metro, 6 minutes to the Bolshoi Theater, and 8 minutes to Red Square, Gum Shopping Mall, Okhotny Ryad Shopping Center, and to the fashionable Tverskaya street. Rooms are small, lack closet space, and are undecorated with bare walls. Outside the rooms are small sitting areas where a late night internet user may flee comfortably while his family members snooze. The indoor swimming pool was nice but the adjacent shower lacked the amenities of other first class hotels.Staff is very helpful and accomodating. Inclusive breakfast was tasty and filling and served in an elegant dining hall.Overall this stay was positive despite the high tariff which which typifies all premium hotels in the Russian capitol. Yes I would re-book The Savoy.
