Location was nice. Outlet covers were missing. There was a REALLY loud plastic wiper thing attached to the shower that sounded like a tsunami siren whenever you moved the door. I finally took it off. It did nothing anyway. The outlets on one side of the bed were dead. The k cup coffee maker was unable to make hot enough water. There was a strange empty space in the room. The whole thing was odd. Solid 2 star hotel. That's about it.

The room has a smell. The coffee maker was not functioning. The front desk receptionist was rude when asked for another coffee maker, making a comment " Did you plug it?" The second coffee maker was not working either. Also, was asked to confirm if the bed was a king size and she commented " You could measure it yourself." No experience of customer service at all.

The property and room was clean, spacious, and well maintained. HOWEVER, There was only one set of towels for the two of us, and no towel rack or hook near the sink. (our neighbors told us they had no towels.) There was only one desk chair and an odd corner chair that was not really usable. No table and chairs in front of the window to take in the view. No chairs outside the room to sit and enjoy the view, (not that you would be able to see much from a chair through the heavy wood railing.)

The view was perfect. But upon arrival, the front desk person gave us the wrong room key; which led us to open a room that was being used by the previous person. This was awkward, but it was okay in the end. The hotel was alright overall, clean from what I can tell but as it is a lower end place it was fine for what it is.

This place is nice, accommodating, clean, quiet. All the things you would want from a Morro Bay getaway. All of the beachside hotels are cute. But the service really set this place apart. Would recommend. Will stay again.
