Casa independiente, capacidad para 8 personas, con jardín privado y piscina en un pueblo típico de la Toscana.

La propiedad es Scalvaia, un pequeño pueblo situado cerca de la frontera natural del río Farma, entre las provincias de Siena y Grosseto, a diez minutos de la Abadía de San Galgano románica y sólo 35 km de Siena. Un paraíso para los ecologistas y para aquellos que aman la paz y tranquilidad: el país está completamente rodeada por bosques y por lo tanto una de las favoritas de los cazadores y los cazadores de setas, sobre todo en otoño e invierno. La casa mide unos 160 metros cuadrados ha sido recientemente renovado y cuenta con un gran jardín privado, piscina (10 x 5, prof. 1,20 -1,65) y barbacoa. En el pueblo de Scalvaia hay alrededor de 70 personas, pero hay un pequeño supermercado, un bar y por encima de una taberna pizzeria donde la comida es muy buena. Cerca de la casa hay una cancha de tenis, que no está en uso, donde dos veces al año se organiza un pequeño festival de pueblo para comer y beber juntos.
Monticiano con supermercado, todo tipo de tiendas y otros restaurantes está a solo 8 km. Siena está a unos 35 km, Follonica y el mar a unos 47 km, Florencia a 100 km.

Villa was dirty and unsafe. We booked at 10day holiday in Aug-25 and spent 5days at a nearby hotel as were disgusted by the state of the property and did not want to stay there any longer with our children.The following issues were present and highlighted to the owner who came across as pleasant older gentleman. However despite complaining about the state of the property only the oven over heating issue was fixed during our visit.- Sofas and floors dirty on arrival with holes in furnishings and dog hair present.- Poorly equipped kitchen, no toaster or kettle with old pans and cooking equipment.- General musty damp smell throughout villa. - Oven dirty and unsafe resulting in cuts out when hot.- Fridge didn’t close properly, freezer had broken drawers and was not clean inside.- Mattresses of poor quality, bedsheets old (bobbly) and towels thread-bear. - No smoke alarms in villa, out of date Fire Extinguishers throughout.- Gas hob unsafe, no safety catch on gas knobs.- Igniter function on gas hob broken.- Several plugs protruding out off walls and some didn’t work.- Toilet on middle floor floods sewage water out of the back pipe when you flush it.- TV didn’t work (no signal).- Old broken sun loungers in pool area. - Various rusty fixings and fixtures.- WiFi poor service throughout villa.- Back door difficult to lock and not secure.- Grass in rear garden around pool area wasn’t cared for and had overgrown resulting in a large numbers of misquotes.
Cleaned the floors on the first day due to condition this was what was swept up in the kitchen. Paid in advance a 140euro cleaning fee on arrival asked for this back but it was not refunded.

We had such a great time here! The house is beautiful, with a large and closed garden where our dog could run freely. The pool was stunning and gave us many relaxing moments under the Tuscan sun. We felt immediately welcome. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the host and toasted together to a great holiday. During our stay, any questions we had were answered quickly and kindly. A place to look back on and hopefully to return to one day!

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in een prachtige omgeving, een heerlijk groot huis en fantastisch zwembad die we helemaal voor onszelf hadden. Het dorpje neemt je terug in de tijd waar alles rustig en gemoedelijk verloopt, vriendelijke mensen en een hele fijne sfeer. In de prachtige tuin heb je privacy en heerlijke plekken om te zitten in de schaduw en met elkaar te eten. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en Pierluigi een fantastische man die ons een heel warm welkom gaf en aan wie we alles konden vragen. Het huis heeft 4 slaapkamers en 3 badkamers, een fijne keuken met eetttafel en een woonkamer maar daar nooit gebruik van maken want we leefde vooral buiten. Alles bij elkaar een heerlijke vakantie gehad en hopen weer terug te komen!

Perfect holiday house

We had a fantastic two-week stay with our (extended) family.The house is perfect for three couples – each had their own bedroom, bathroom, and toilet.We didn’t need the extra room with two single beds.The house is even better than it looks in the photos.It has everything you need – spotlessly clean and very practically laid out.Beautiful Roman-style pool with plenty of loungers, a garden dining set, and a large tree providing lots of shade.The covered terrace next to the kitchen was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner with views of the pool and garden, which is beautifully lit in the evening.The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need.There’s also a washing machine, ironing board, and iron.The large clothesline in the garden was also very convenient.The house was immaculate, and Pierluigi gave us the warmest welcome we’ve ever received.He was always available for any questions and was happy to share tips about the area.Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be coming back!

Fantastic stay in a beautiful part of Tuscany

We had a lovely stay at La Pergola. We were greeted at the property by Alessio who toured us through the house and hosted us to a warm welcome. The property had lots of room for our group of 8. The host directed us to some wonderful sites in the region and made arrangements for us to dine at the Scalvaia restaurant. That is an experience that you should not miss. The food was fantastic. We found the help at the property to be prompt and supportive. The pool was a huge hit for us all as the summer can be warm. It was a big addition to the holiday to cool off in the afternoon. They made us feel at home and welcome in the property. We would definitely stay at La Pergola again if we are looking for a great experience in the Tuscany region.
