Started our road trip in Mobile, then came to Montgomery and stayed in the Great Gatsby room. Although a little busy with Gatsby memorabilia all over the walls, Bonnie says that she did the room herself, and you can definitely see her talent and love in every piece! The king sized bed was comfortable and the bathroom had all we needed. Breakfast was a real treat, especially the pecan waffles! Would certainly return!

Enjoyed our stay immensely at the Red Bluff Cottage. So quiet & comfortable and conveniently located to the sights in Montgomery. Bonnie and Barry are quite the hosts with great food and anything you could ever need.

Stayed here with my partner for 2 nights. The bed was super comfortable, rooms very cozy. Barry and Bonnie are friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was delicious! There is a fridge with cold drinks and a keurig handy throughout the day. The place is spotless and the location is great for ‘touristy’ spots. Highly recommend checking out the Goat Haus across the street for a drink, snack and live music if you have time!

Came here for a weekend after the husband returned from deployment. Got the romance package and the anniversary package. Real rose petals on the bed and REAL red velvet cupcakes. SO good! Breakfast was fabulous and we were so loved in and looked after. Had the place to ourselves and it was so calm and quiet. Highly recommend the place. We may even come back for another weekend.

This is a charming little inn for a weekend "unplug". The Rose Room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. Loved the gourmet breakfasts, and getting to know Barry and Bonnie. They truly are dedicated to making your stay delightful. We were close enough to Montgomery to allow us to sightsee and do the things we wanted to do, and far enough away from the hustle and bustle to make relaxing easy. Looking forward to planning our next visit.

Great breakfast at Bonnie and her husband’s who cooked a delicious omelet : as my son said : « the best one I have ever eaten! » And as his mom, I can tell you Arthur is very picky !! Fabienne from France 🇫🇷

We loved everything about our visit. The breakfast was delicious. Our room, the Rose Room was very comfortable and cozy. The whole house is extremely clean and well kept. Bonnie and Barry were wonderful! We would go back!

We had a delightful stay here and felt the hosts welcomed us as friends. It was comfortable and clean. Would stay here again. It was especially delightful to meet others at breakfast and hear their stories.

I was not surprised to encounter racist beliefs at the breakfast table on the morning after spending the night at this "historic" bed and breakfast in Montgomery. After all, it's Montgomery. I don't mean to be rude to the hosts, but please do not assume your guests will share in your assumptions of blind patriotism or your moral censorship of Black youth. All the contrary, I stayed at the B&B so that I could go to The Legacy museum the next day. Please try to make this a safe and welcoming space for all guests, and do not assume anyone's politics or orientation. The conversation was shared between only three people that morning at breakfast. Six sat at the table. The other three rolled their eyes and held their breath until you all got tired of speaking. Not all of the people at the table were white, though none were Black. Two were a lesbian couple. How do you think they felt? Montgomery is changing and you need to change with it. Thank you.

We rely on Trip Advisor for many of our travel plans. This property was highly rated but we would not recommend it. I smelled mold on the first floor. The grounds were in disrepair. Our room was over decorated. The food was only mediocre. And the owners brought Politics and God to our breakfast table. We did not feel this was appropriate or comfortable.
