This hotel is for those who value experience over perfection. Here you will find lovely intimate spaces filled with personality. Owner is on site and will check in with you about your experience. Son runs the desk and serves a lovely European breakfast. Always a kind word and a laugh. My friends all wanted to visit me here and go to the beautiful beach rather than have me drive to see them so I had a lovely slow moving vacay. If u are like me and love original special places that make u feel welcomed - this hotel is for u.

We love the Phil the hotel. The hotel was 100 years old that brought us back in time. The staff treated us like royalty took very good care of us. At breakfast for us every morning. It was a small hotel but we enjoyed it very much. We would recommend it and go back again.

Beyond Expectations & A Unique ExperIence

I've always wanted to stay here because of its unique themed rooms, history, location and intimate feeling. Hotel 1110 was beyond my expectations in every category. Dr Nick, the owner, is always around to welcome you and make sure every aspect of your stay is perfect. Although the rooms have a historical, European feel - the amenities (from bidet, to hair dryer to mattress and linens) are up to date and sparkling clean. The hotel and rooms are not spacious, but they are quality, cozy and met me and my friend's hopes and needs. Ideal for a getaway with a lover or a girlfriend. The breakfast was fine restaurant quality and part of the price. An unbelievable deal, without even mentioning that the hotel is walking distance to the beach, Fisherman's Wharf and downtown Monterey. I can't wait to come back!

This is a fun boutique hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. The rooftop restaurant/bar (with heaters) is great for a wonderful drink and a view of Monterey Bay!
