This town is so amazingly beautiful and full of architecture, art and history. I felt like I was on a movie set all the time I was there. Lots of ambitious walking up and down hills. Be prepared with good walking shoes.

What a fabulous place. In the heart of the town, the rooms are amazing and the view is perfect. Frederica was extremely accommodating and helpful with transportation requests and general knowledge. We would absolutely stay here again.

A five star experience for a four star price. This is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. The historic palazzo is stunning, the views and location magnificent, and the Turkish bath is luxurious beyond belief.

Excelente lugar para quedarse....muy comodo, super bien ubicado (en el centro), parqueo incluido cercano, la habitacion muy bonita estilo medieval con las comodidades y baño moderno. Frederica and the rest of the staff were exceptional. We were traveling for a wedding and they helped us access extra services and recommendations. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast spread was delicious and we were able to order additional egg dishes and specialty coffees. The rooms were decadent and very clean. High ceilings and extremely quiet. It was the best stay we had during our trip.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Everything was perfect. The location, our host Frederica, the beautiful breakfast all ready when you walked out of your room, the self serve bar cart in the beautiful open space. I could name so many other aspects that were just perfection. This was one of my most favourite hotels in Tuscany. Tiny bit tricky to find, but if you follow the directions to a tee, you’ll see a flagpole on the building. Stop the car.. go inside and Frederica will help you go park. It’s worth the little bit of effort. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Our hostess at the property was fabulous and made us feel so at home. The hotel is very unique with only 5 rooms with original frescoes that date to 1767. Breakfast was a white table cloth affair with amazing fresh pastries. Truly felt like a princess in a palace! Location is in the heart of Montepulciano. The only disadvantage is no elevater so need to be able to handle two flights of stairs.
