Everything is beautiful except the most valuable part..beaches..a lot of cigarettes and dirty glasses from the rest of the previous night.water needs to be clean as well.a lot of seaweed on a bottom of the beach.we didn’t have much room to swim. This was a big disappointment since we went there specific for the sea and beaches. Everything else was more then pleasing!

The food was marginal with few exceptions. Staff was nice but we felt like we were expected to tip and carry cash where ever we went. Seems like there were things like towels, toilet paper in the pool restroom, and food in the main dining area were stocked in the morning and when they ran out for the day, that was all till the next day. This was our first visit to a Secrets resort, we usually stay at Sandals for an all-inclusive. It was also our first visit to Jamaica. If we go back, we will probably stay at Sandals. As soon as we arrived we were signed up to go to their version of a time share sale. The carrot was a romantic dinner on the beach for free which was actually worth the 2 hours we spent talking to their sales staff.

The property had everything you need. There was no reason to leave the resort. Plenty of chairs at beaches and pools. Plenty of different restaurants, live entertainment.

Loved everything about this resort! Even the pools are breathless-their a must 😀

Overall the property and facilities were really amazing. Staff was fantastic. The only downside to the whole stay was that the food was very poor. Also for room service they insist on coming in the room. There’s a privacy cubby next to the door but waiters get upset when you ask them to use it to deliver the food

The staff was wonderful and service very good. However, no place to eat after 10:00pm except room service which have limited selections. Rooms are stocked with beer no liquor. Only one location carry premium liquor.

They say it’s all-inclusive but everywhere you go people want to be tipped for doing their job!!

Overall experience was very good. There was however a bit of a hiccup when I tried re-entering the hotel after a few friends came & took me out for dinner. Took them about 15 minutes to verify my information with the front desk. I wasn’t too happy with this considering the hefty price tag this hotel came with over the Christmas break. At first, the security team didn’t give me the benefit of the doubt. They treated me like an intruder & were very condescending, repeatedly asking if i’m really staying here. I got a little firm & assured them that I was in fact staying here. I was very disappointed, and believed that they probably wouldn’t have treated a Caucasian individual the same way. I am Jamaican by birth & this really broke my heart. Having to prove myself even in my own birth country. Anyway, everything else was pretty pleasant. Nice beach, good food, amazing ocean view rooms, soft beds & great staff. Would definitely go back, but will be trying Iberostar 5 star adult only luxury franchise first.

Its a beautiful hotel, amazing staff you will have an amazing time. The jerk chicken is amazing. The activities as well you will have lots of fun, but when it comes to the food they should do better and the hotel entertainment. They should put Jamaican music and make it live

Amazing staff and wonderful experience. Great entertainment at night

Wonder experience from the moment you step in the hotel to check in. I'm definitely coming back . Only thing they ask you to join a VIP club.. so if you plan to make sure your prepared for it. Other then that it was great time there. Simply paradise! Service was great, live entertainment, food was amazing . Jerk chicken was delicious in the rolling cart, dinner on the beach ..wow!! Perfect time my wife n I had . And is adults only resort that was good too.

Restaurants were great. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The staff was always smiling and super friendly. Clean facilities, lots to do. Beautiful property, nice beaches.

Great vacation and plenty of rest. The Garden side was peaceful and quiet. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful daily.

This probably WAS once a top end resort. But lapses in service, food quality, condition, and management make this a pretty mediocre experience. I would not return. Almost every aspect of the resort was 1/3 great, 1/3 marginal, and 1/3 laughably bad. Our room was probably once a fairly luxurious room. However, many years later, the refrigerator stocked with beer and soda didn't work at all. Literally it was a cabinet. How would a room attendant not notice that all of the drinks are warm when restocking every day? The ice machine, also not working. The furniture looked like it had been dropped down a flight of stairs it was so beaten up, and there were a few small items in disrepair. The spa was also very borderline. Net of resort credits, the massage was still VERY overpriced. The spa area of special saunas and tubs were all COLD because "a pipe was broken". The food ranged from very good to and absolute joke, with almost no predictability at all. Very tough to order when you might get something great or something so bad you have to reorder. The entire pool area ran out of towels at 2pm on a Saturday, for at least an hour until we gave up and left. Like many resorts, some ignorant patrons would stake out sections of chairs with their personal towel clips literally before the sun came up, only to use the chairs for 2 hours in the middle of the day. If this is supposed to be a luxury resort, it needs a lot of work on the mgmt. side.
