The staff catered to your every whim. Shane was excellent!!! The food options were great along with the drink options usually with an all inclusive place you get the bottom shelf of every liquor. Iberostar is not the case. Top shelf or nothing. The Lobby bar staff upon arrival was great and recommended great drinks. The spa staff was excellent. The only issue we had was with a JTL staff member. (NOT PART OF THE HOTEL STAFF) Other then that a dream vacation to remember for a long time.

Love this resort, but if I was to compare to previous stays here, I would have to say that this time around the service on the beach was very minimal, one staff person to care for the people on the beach. Also, lunch and dinner buffets used to have a variety of pasta salads that wasn't available this visit, but still plenty to pick from!! The beach is beautiful and well maintained! Not rocky as you enter.... Restaurants are great, with the Gourmet to be my favorite! Rooms are very clean, comfortable beds. Rooms could use better brighter lighting.

We had some room issues (#6023) which Andrew, the Executive Assistant Manager, made an effort to correct. Kudos to him and his effort. Overall, though, even if we hadn't experienced the issues, the Iberostar would be a solid 4 to 4.5 star resort. The food quality was excellent! The steakhouse and buffet were great. The bar and wait staff were average around the pool (but friendly). The pool bar itself usually has a line waiting for drinks. This is probably due to the limited number of waitresses serving the pool and beach area and people getting tired of waiting for someone to bring them drinks. Housekeeping was very average. The corners of the rooms and shower don't appear very clean. The room/suite itself is very nice. My wife and I didn't really use the butler service much (some people we talked with thought their butler was awesome). Our feeling was the butler seemed overly energetic of getting tipped which was the real reason he was there speaking to us. The servers in the restaurants and buffet were excellent. The entertainment staff worked very hard and were good. Overall, it was our first trip to a "5" star resort and the experience just didn't feel like it. It was nice but so have been other upper echelon (4-4.5 star) resorts we have visited in Cancun and Punta Cana.

It was a great experience. However, I would recommend that guest are informed of what the other resorts have for activities since we are able to go to all resorts by staying at The Grand Rose Hall.

We have stayed here 4 times and every year we go back, the hotel employees remember us. They are extremely friendly and are there for your every need. We will continue to go back! The food is excellent and available no matter what time you want to eat.

First let me tell you that this is my third stay at the Iberostar. We were a group of 35. We had great butlers but many in our group did not. My son in law asked for rose petals and a drawn bath and Champaign. He waited in his room for 2 hours and they never came. My brother had to be moved 3 times because of the mildew smell. We went 2 separate days without washcloths. The hall ways to the rooms were dirty. A daily vacuum will work. I love the Iberostar but you are slowly going down hill.

Overall I enjoyed my visit. No issues with the facility, staff, food, drinks and entertainment. The only two things I would caution anyone staying here is, 1) the Wi-Fi access is very inconsistent and, 2) the butler service is only as useful as you make it. If you don't ask them to describe the services they provide they will not offer to tell you. As such, it may not be worth paying for if you are easily self-sufficient.

The hotel was awesome! Beautiful property with ample security, great bars and excellent food. Poolside drink service was a little slow. The shows were very professional. My only complaint is that I gained 5 pounds from eating so much!

Great restaurants, bars and pools made for an amazing vacation. It was our second visit and I look forward to a third.

The Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is amazing in every way. We were upgraded to ocean front at check in, our room was amazing--spacious, lots of closet and drawer space, spotlessly clean. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating, everyone greats you with a smile and asks if you need anything each time you pass. The food was 5 star, the breakfast foot had every type of food you could think of , all fresh and/or made to order, we had all our dinners at the reservations required restaurants and the meals were outstanding. I had the best cannoli I've ever eaten at the Italian restaurant, and lobster every day. One day I had lobster tails for a snack poolside! In addition to all the amenities the Grand provides, the beach is beautiful and very clear. You have you choice of one of the amazing pools or the beach, there are chaise lounge chairs under palm umbrellas all over, in addition to ones in the sun. There are also double size beds, some under canopies and some in the sun--even on the beach! There are several servers walking around poolside to make sure you have anything to drink that you desire, and they will even bring them right to the pool! The weather is also perfect, in the afternoon a very strong breeze kicks up shortly after 12 and the way it blows you never feel hot unless you are walking in the sun. I woke up hot every night because you can't set temp below 20 celsius (68F.) If a ceiling fan was over the bed, it would probably be bearable. Was expecting a more luxurious room for the price. Bed was comfortable but furniture seemed cheap. Requesting whatever type of pillow you prefer is nice. Bathroom is an odd set up; would have been nice to have at least one vanity separate from toilet and shower. Jacuzzi tub and balcony were great. The buffet was great. Only tried one restaurant and it was OK; overcooked my steak (medium rare was well done.)

great for a romantic get away!

third stay at iberostar grand!

a solid 4 to 4.5 stars
