This charming villa in La Romola offers a welcoming retreat for families or groups. The ground floor includes a spacious kitchen with modern appliances (oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, boiling-water tap), a cozy living/dining room with fireplace and satellite TV, and a full bathroom. Upstairs, you'll find a double bedroom and two kids’ rooms, plus another bathroom. A separate laundry room with washer and ironing facilities adds convenience. Outside, enjoy an 800 m² private garden, a roofed terrace (15 m²), a shared charcoal barbecue, and a 14×7 m pool (open May–October), along with play equipment and games. Free Wi-Fi, parking, and pet-friendly.

The layout is perfect for shared meals, both indoors and outdoors, with the garden and pool offering plenty of space to relax and play. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir von Carla, der Besitzerin und ihren beiden Angestellten, herzlich empfangen. Unsere Unterkunft war das letzte Haus einer Reihe von Wohnungen. Das Haus war sauber und eine Flasche Wein mit ein paar Leckereien warteten auf uns. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es gibt einen großen Grillplatz auf dem Feld mit einem langen Tisch mit Bänken. Auf dem Anwesen sind Hecken aus Rosmarin, Salbei und Basilikum. Sobald wir mit dem Kochen begonnen hatten, gingen wir zuerst um das Feld herum. Am Pool stehen auch Sonnenliegen in allen Apartments zur Verfügung, so dass Sie wählen können, wo Sie sich hinlegen möchten. Es sollte berücksichtigt werden, dass das Wasser nicht trinkbar ist, in jedem Fall kann man die Qualität nicht garantieren, aber angesichts der Farbe haben wir es nicht gewagt. Im Geschäft kann man Quellwasser, Wein und Olivenöl kaufen und Sandwiches bestellen.Wir waren im August und dann gibt es Mücken, gegen die man sich gut reiben muss. Der Kulturliebhaber kann hier sein Herz treffen, denn Volterra, San Vivaldo, San Gimignano sind nicht weit entfernt, aber Siena, Florenz ist eine 1-stündige Fahrt von der Unterkunft entfernt. Die Küste ist 1,5 km von hier entfernt. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub und haben es sehr genossen.
