Exceptional Stay at Van der Valk Hotel

My recent stay at Van der Valk was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and professional staff made me feel welcome. The room was spacious, modern, and clean, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep every night. The bathroom was also immaculate and well-stocked with toiletries. The hotel's location was perfect for my needs, as it was close to the Düsseldorf International Airport. The hotel's breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The restaurant and bar were also great, with a cozy atmosphere and attentive service. Decent hotel but short comings

Stayed here for one night, price was good and actually cheaper via Hotels.com than with the hotel directly. The hotel is large and grand (typical of the brand) with a huge outdoor car park with no height restrictions. Room was pleasant and clean but as is the case with all German Van Der Valk Hotels the standard room was no way near as nice as the more modern Dutch ones. Worth staying when rates are low but not when high. Be warned in summer rooms would be boiling as no AC. Good breakfast buffet. Hotel let down by poor service at reception. Arrived in room and there was no TV remote so could not watch TV. Called reception and was told there was nothing that could be done. Eventually went to reception and convinced them to take a remote from an empty room. Annoying this was missed by cleaning staff and then not quickly resolved by night reception.
