Good location. Room was clean and comfortable beds. Great view. The only downside is that there was no option to order room service nor there is a breakfast or restaurant to go to or order from. There is a rest/bar by the beach that opens at 11am.

was a ok motel. Small room but close to Gallery. Otherwise it is OK

The best experience at the luau hotel! We loved how the beach was walking distance also the view from our room was priceless and the bedroom was super duper comfortable.....

We visited for a short weekend stay. The beaches were over crowded. The resort path to the beach was not stroller friendly. Lots of stairs. Longer walk to beach than expected. Overcrowded beach hard to navigate and find a place. You can't even walk up and down the coast because it is just packed! Service was mediocre.

We had a very pleasant stay. It was over 4th of July, and the fireworks show was great, right on the beach.

The overall Trip was great. However, the check in process is a bit cumbersome. The Welcome Center is centralized for the entire resort and the amount of guests for the entire property is a bit overwhelming. We arrived at 10 pm and the wait was 25 minutes. I can't imagine what the wait would be like at normal check in times. Also, the Welcome Center isn't located at the Hotel, it is a few miles away on the other side of the property. Other than that one issue, everything else was great!

Room was what I expected, The Staff was attentive and courteous, and Located close to Oak Lawn Night life , Live Theatre, Mall shopping, Expressway for fast access to everything!

Overall not bad. The shuttle service is very convenient. Breakfast is ok. Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Location is perfect if you have a car. The room was smelly. You can not open a window or door.

nice hotel at a great location! very close to sandestin beach, a walkable walk of about 5 mins! good value! will definitely stay there again!

The Luau at Sandestin is great for a quick beach trip without breaking the bank. This was the second time staying at the Luau and would stay here again.

We stayed at the Luau during a road trip in the south, as tourists from abroad, we found a Great Deal that convinced us to stay at this property.this is huge includes several facilities, hotel condos villas and golf courses, plenty of restaurants and activities . Know that you always have to pay the resort fee on the spot, not included in the reservation. The staff at the front desk named AMELIA very rude refused to replicate the rate we got online and tried to convince us he does not get it. In the end we took the offer via Tablet in front of his eyes.

The location was close to Love Field Airport but a bit dodgy of a neighborhood. The hotel itself was shabby but the room was acceptable. The bathroom was old and dingy but clean. The staff at the front desk was pleasant. The other hotel clients seemed very sketchy. I would prefer not to stay here again.

On our first stay at Sandestin, we were very happy with the Luau - nice, clean 1 BR condo, great pool for kids, poolside bar with drinks & food. It's an easy stroll to the beach, plus a shuttle to go to Bayside Village. There is even free ice for coolers in Luau II. A few cons: no towels at the Luau pool, no room cleaning service, check-out is 11 AM. Overall, we felt the Luau is a good value in Sandestin.

There was a really bizarre smell in the first floor hall and elevator, but aside from that everything was wonderful. The restaurant downstairs was convenient, clean, and a good value (with super fries). The staff at the hotel was polite and helpful. There was a pool, exercise room, and even a laundry room (none of which I used, but they all looked great). My room had a fridge and a microwave, an excellent surprise.

It is a great place and the people were all very nice. We did however had a hard time figuring out what was going on around the Resort. Pools are not heated till Late May so if it is cold do not expect to go swimming. Overall experience was great and probably will come back in a couple of years.

This hotel is awful. Its has the strangest smell upon entering the hotel. The staff is clueless about customer service. The computers that were available for use were horrible. It was as if they had dial up internet, and all I wanted to do was print my boarding pass. They had to constantly reboot the computer for usage. The best thing about the Hotel was the location. The pictures are certainly not recent of of the hotel currently. Save your money.

Hotel was OK. It was close walk to the beach just down a short path. The room was good sized for us with a full kitchen and fridge. I know I shouldn't expect much from a sofa bed, but the one in our room was bad. The frame was bent, the mattress was old and flimsy, and the supports we're not all there. I actually partially fell through the bottom part, as there was nothing under the mattress. They should not advertise the sofa bed as a place to sleep it's that bad. They removed the ice machines, so you have to wait for the ice maker to make some or go buy some. Overall, other than sleeping accommodations, it was decent in a nice location/resort.

Friendly staff. Good for a quick overnight trip. No real amenities but will suffice for a good night's sleep.

Hotel was decent...small room for the price and the water had a horrible sulfur smell. But overall a good place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay in the motel. The staff were all very nice people who met all our needs. We will for sure be coming back to this motel in the future.
