You’ll love the 3 covered porches and a view of the Gulf! New furnishings in a private setting with the largest floor plan in Cottage Retreat, and all the included amenities make for a comfortable luxurious stay! DESTIN’ation is the perfect place for families coming to enjoy the warm weather and family time. The neighborhood is a gated community which gives guests an extra feeling of security. DESTIN’ation provides guests with over 300 feet of private beach to relax and soak up the sun. DESTIN’ation is a wonderful four bedroom home along Scenic Highway 98 just steps from the white sandy private beach (easy 2-minute flat walk)! This beautifully decorated home is spacious enough for a large family and quaint enough for a smaller family. This home features two living rooms, flat screen TV’s in each room and large private balconies with plenty of outdoor seating! The clubhouse features a workout center for those wanting to continue their workout program. The 3000 sq. ft. community pool is heated during the winter months and a hot tub is available for guest enjoyment.!

The accommodations were fantastic and provided plenty of room for our large group. We appreciated the extra amenities, such as beach chairs, beach towels, and access to a large closet containing many games and beach toys. The kitchen was well stocked. The main living area had ample seating that was comfortable. The extra large TV was a bonus! The dining table was very large and we were able to seat everyone (kids included) at the same time for meals. The upper living area had lots of seating and plenty of room. We enjoyed the multiple balconies with very nice patio furniture. It was located conveniently to the beach and pool. We highly recommend!

I have stayed in this beach cottage several times and I have nothing but GREAT things to say about it!! The owners provide EVERYTHING!! Beach towels, beach chairs, games, and plenty of household items! The AC works great (which is very important to us). We are looking forward to returning in August 2026!

We had a fabulous time! The house was fully stocked and met all of our needs. The layout worked great for two sets of grandparents and our family. Loved how close it was to the beach and the included chairs and umbrellas. There are even many beach supplies at the house so we did not have to buy any. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The house is located on a culdesac like setting. Felt very private and safe. If the listing states you must cross the road, I missed that…. Not my fav for young children and the access is not wagon friendly. The beach is that Destin beautiful green water and sand. If you want to reserve chairs close to beach, do it the day before. The recliners (one of the reason we chose this property) aren’t really senior friendly as they swivel and scoot in the tile. The house is WELL stocked with beach and family items! The only true negative was the floors were not very clean and the reason I couldn’t give 5 stars. I would stay again and would recommend. Party of seniors, two adults, and six children.

Incredible stay!

We absolutely loved this house! It was perfect for our family of 10. Everything you need in a kitchen is provided plus all the beach chairs, towels, and boards. It is a quiet community with a very short walk to the beach. We had a little challenge trying to get the 3rd parking pass but the owner quickly responded and took care of it. Can’t say enough good things about this place! We will be coming back!

Just as described. 2 min from the beach. Having 3 floors allowed kids to have personal space and adults as well. Great safe neighborhood. Thor was quick to respond when I had a question. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Great family location!

The house’s location is super convenient! Only a couple minutes walk to the private beach made it easy even with two toddlers. The pool is nice with bathrooms onsite. The property owners were extremely easy to work with/get in contact with and responded quickly to our minor WiFi issue. The fitness facility is tiny, and not really usable aside from cardio equipment for any sort of movement. The only thing we didn’t realize (which seems to be the entire beach) is how picky these private beaches are. The companies set their chairs up and you’re not allowed to move them, you can’t set up in front of them, and you can’t bring your own canopies (umbrellas only). BUT the host does prepay for 2 complimentary chairs and an umbrella, so we were still able to pick a spot and have room for the kiddos to play.

Amazing stay!!

We have been staying in the Beach Retreat Community for nearly 20 years! We absolutely love this particular beach cottage! We have stayed in it a few times! The owners have thought of everything from beach chairs, toys, fans (the AC works great) extra blankets, beach towels, tables, chairs and a fully stocked kitchen!! The list goes on!! Very clean and organized property! They have thought of everything you could possibly need. Beach chairs/umbrellas/beach toys for kids!! Only suggestion I would make is you do not need to purchase a parking spot at the pool because this property is right across from the pool. Owner took care of a small issue promptly! Would love to return again!! Highly recommend!!

Rent It; You Won't Regret It!

The pictures don't do this place justice, which easily accommodated our family of eight adults and four small children. The bedrooms were spacious (including the bunkroom, which is large enough for an adult(s)) and equipped with remote-controlled ceiling fans for individual comfort. You could see the Gulf from the third-floor living room and balcony. This rental is in a prime location, as it's the second house at Cottage Retreat. The walk to the beach was short, with the beach access located directly across the street from the entrance to Beach Retreat/Cottage Retreat. The pool's located just across the street from the rental and never felt overcrowded, even on days when there were double-red flags, and most people avoided the beach. You can purchase additional parking spots in front of the clubhouse, which is situated between the rental and the pool. Anyone parking there felt like they were still parking directly in front of the rental itself. We all loved staying here.
