We had 20 of us (6 siblings with spouses, kids, and grandkids, ages 3 to 60), and there was plenty of room for everyone without feeling crowded. The arcade was a big hit with the under-18 crew, while the front porch became the gathering spot for the 50 crowd. The screened-in porch was perfect for buggy evenings.Since we raise beef, we brought plenty along, and the extra fridge in the second kitchen was a lifesaver. The gas range made cooking for this army much easier. The house itself is older but very well kept. The squeaky floors and stairs just added some charm—no need for an alarm system! The 3rd-floor bedrooms each had their own mini-split AC systems, which made temperature control easy. If that’s important to you, those are the rooms to grab. The first-floor communal spaces and second-floor bedrooms could use a little more cooling—extra fans would help circulate the air.The neighborhood is quiet, with other large estates nearby, and it’s just a short walk to the park. A great place for a big family gathering.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It looks misleadingly small from the outside and the photos don’t do it justice. This 150 year old house is beautifully updated in (two!!) kitchens and all bathrooms, but old charm remains with the gorgeous millwork and high ceilings. The house goes on and on - it took a bit to get our bearings! Ten bedrooms were perfect for our group of 21. Many gorgeous mansions are nearby and make for a lovely walk. There is a playground and great restaurants in a short walking distance (the Louisiana Cafe had a wonderful breakfast). The host was responsive and check in and out was easy. The kitchen was well stocked, and the game room had great games. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

The hosts were very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. It's a big house and the mini split AC units on the 3rd floor kept it very comfortable (even with the heat advisory). The arcade room downstairs was a big hit with our group!

Victorian mansion
We stayed in this property while attending our daughter's wedding. It was plenty big for the eleven of us to stay in and enjoy food and drinks and play games in the evening. The kitchen was well-stocked. The arcade in the basement was a hit: Skee Ball, Ms. Pacman, and pinball. It is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the Cathedral, and it was lovely to sit in the shade on the big front porch and have a glass of wine. The property manager responded quickly to our two questions. Would definitely recommend for large groups.

Great gathering place for 40th birthday!
This place is amazing. Great location- easy to access local bars, stores and the highway between St. Paul and minneapolis. Rented this for my husbands surprise 40th with 14 staying in the home and then a dinner of 30 one night. It was so accommodating for all sleep over guests- beautiful large gathering areas inside and arcade in the basement. Two kitchens to feed and house that many dudes and if I plan something like this again- will use this location. Responsive owners who were very accommodating. Love this place and would stay again.

This property was absolutely amazing, right down to the small details. We arrive to lights being on and fresh flowers on the counter. This large home was exactly what we needed for our daughter's bridal party. With a movie room and kitchen on the 2nd floor, during the morning of the wedding, the boys stayed upstairs and the ladies had hair, makeup, and photography on the main level. We also had two younger boys who definitely appreciated having Wifi for their devices; however, they basically spent the whole stay in the arcade on the lower level. The dads enjoyed the morning, staying out of the way and drinking coffee on the porch while admiring the historic area. The sunroom had perfect lighting for bridal pictures. The kitchens were stocked with everything we needed to make meals and relax. There were extra folding tables and chairs available, which worked perfectly for our grooms' supper the night before. There is an adorable coffee shop within walking distance. The neighborhood was extremely safe, and parking was not an issue for our large group. The host was very responsive. I had a few questions, and they were very quick to respond and easy to work with. I can not say enough wonderful things about this property. My only disappointment was that we had to leave. The newlyweds even talked about having the family return in a few years for an Anniversary Reunion weekend.

This was the perfect place to host our retreat
Nothing could have prepared me for how lovely this property is in person! The ceilings are SO high and the rooms are spacious. Super well kept, incredibly clean, perfect location (we walked everywhere)! Would recommend to anyone. Our host was also very gracious, really easy to work with, and just so helpful overall. Would rate 6 stars for every category if I could.

Home with plenty of space
We had a group of 17 adults staying at this property and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The bedrooms are all good sized. Although we didn't need the second kitchen for cooking, it was very nice to have a second fridge for beverages! The dining room table was sizable and large enough for anyone who was eating in addition to gathering around for games. There were also multiple additional seating areas for those who wanted a bit more quiet.Keep in mind that the stairs leading to the 3rd floor are very steep. Anyone who struggles to navigate a narrow staircase may do better on the 2nd floor. This home was located in a charming neighborhood and close to many great amenities. I would stay here again.

Fantastic place for a work retreat
The non-profit I work for needed a place for a planning retreat. I was SO glad to have found this place. Colleagues came in from all over the country and there was room for everyone. We stayed for three nights - cooked our meals at the house, had meetings all day, and were able to relax and socialize in the evenings. The house is beautiful, the kitchen is gorgeous, and we held our meetings in the sunroom. I would definitely reserve this place for future planning retreats!

wonderful time with family and friends
We enjoyed our time with family and friends in this fantastic house and neighborhood of Saint Paul. The sleeping arrangements were great for many families with four generations ranging from great grandchildren to great grandparents. Both kitchens were well stocked. We used the refrigerator in both kitchens but the main kitchen was so well stocked that we did not have to cook in both kitchens. There was plenty of seating space to play games and have great family time. We went on many walks and found wonderful restaurants and coffee shops right in the neighborhood. We will definitely go back if the opportunity to plan another get together comes up.

We had a group of 23 ages 3-58. Kids loved it. Everything worked great, updated nicely. Street parking accommodated all our vehicles fine. Neighborhood seemed safe. Maybe only suggestion, add mirrors to the bedroooms would be helpful so free up bathroom for makeop etc.
