The suite i've been staying is well designed and clean, with big closet, big king size bed and the bathroom as well. I appreciated the good room lightining and room temperature, as well as the classic furniture style. breackfast and room service good as well. i didn't try the aperitiv which i was told not to be good.
The place is a very chic hotel and of course to go there you'll need an elegant dress, for the happy hour also casual chic is enough. the location is very nice but of course it's not economic. It's not a place where I would go if very hungry!
Stayed 1 night for business. Service was friendly. Room was large, but furniture looked more like mix of Ikea and 1990’s cruise ship. Almost no power sockets to charge e.g. cell phone. Bathroom smelled mouldy. Restaurant was full and played loud nightclub music, so not a nice option for weekday dinner. Overall a considerable step down from the standard Marriott/Sheraton/Hilton’s that I often stay at.
I like old hotels. This is a well-established place in a great location that has high quality rooms and a great bar for spending time with colleagues and friends. The staff are genuinely welcoming and attentive. To me it is much of what a hotel should be.
Sheraton Diana Majestic is not a hotel its a home. Everyone from the porter when you arrive to check in and the bar staff is brilliant. The best Concierge you can find. The hotel has been my choice for over twenty years and still they surprise me with the service and how professional they are. Probably the best hotel bar you can find with a beautiful garden and amazing cocktails. I would never stay anywhere else when i visit Milan. I cant recommend this hotel enough. Stay here if you are going to Milan!
Stayed here in October with hubby.. hotel staff were friendly and helpful.. rooms nice and clean .. bar at hotel is nice with good range of drinks .. cocktails are fab :) hotel is a good location and there’s a supermarket A couple doors down when u turn left out of hotel which is handy.. loved our stay here would recommend
When we checked in, we had a few problems with the receptionist. First, we were charged for 3 people but we were put in a room with one bed. The room's design is very old, one elevator for the whole hotel. The employees are not very helpful, there are queues in the reception. I didnt feel the hotel cared about their customers. The price is too high for such a hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
We stayed at the Diana for three nights while attending an hospitality convention outside of Milano . My room was great- quiet and spacious ( they upgraded me when I checked in) Loved the neighborhood- easy to get around. The Tram was literally outside the Door and took me right to the main train station. I would stay here again-
I came here with a group of friends on a week night and we had an aperitivo, which is 12€ and includes one drink and the buffet. The buffet was nothing special, I mean the usual focaccia, pasta, etc, while the drink was quite good. I suggest booking in advance if more than 3/4. If the weather allows it, ask to be seated outside, as the garden with the fountain is most beautiful feature of this place. Food can be improved, but for 12€ it’s understandable, 10/10 for the location.
We asked for a quiet room and were given a room at the front of the hotel on the main road. Very noisy with tram, motorbikes, cars and generally people on the street. Ask for a room overlooking the garden.. The room itself is quite large even for Australian standards. For European it’s huge with an equally huge bathroom. The shower leaked to the point where we kept a towel down on the floor whilst we showered to make sure we did not slip. The room is a little well worn with a need of a paint job especially around the doors and door frames. The bed being a king size was in need of a change in mattress as the side I slept on was home to a bit of a hole. The sheets were nice and fresh with nice pillows. The concierge staff were very, very helpful making sure to give us the best information to get our best of the three days in Milan.
