Stayed here in May for 4 nights. The hotel is in a good location, easy enough to get to the city center by walking or public transport. The staff were very polite and helpful in both the restaurant and at the front desk. Breakfast was very nice, however my dinner on the first night was tiny and expensive for the size of it. I loved all aspects of the hotels appearance from the main entrance to the garden and our room. Our bathroom was massive! Best hotel I've stayed in in a long time. Would definitely recommend staying here and will choose this hotel if I go back to Milan which I hope to one day.
I was staying in the Sheraton Diana in May for 3 weeks, business travel. My choice because of SPG and it looked nice enough on pictures, the bar and the garden did. Because the hotel was fully booked in my first week I could not get an automatic upgrade, though I was not very fussed about it. What I really liked about the hotel was its charm – the old grand hotel style with the corporate feel of a house belonging to an international chain. Because of my very frequent travels (65% of the time) and usually long stays (mostly 2 weeks) I do value a hotel that makes me feel at home. The Sheraton Diana did. It was not far from the city center, easily walkable, and has very good public transport links (easy for me to get to the office in Navigli). Reception staff was very nice and always helpful and attentive. The fitness room was small but had everything you need and accessible 24/7 for guests. I had only time to do the aperitivo in the garden once, it was packed that day but the staff was great in finding me table and also attentive and quick. Breakfast service was a bit slow, especially the men in charge seemed to be rather busy with themselves, and the buffet was ok but nothing you would tell someone else about (unlike The Ritz Carlton Berlin breakfast or the one at Hyatt Regency Duesseldorf). Still, because of the view on the garden and the homely but modern style of the restaurant, I enjoyed breakfast. In particular with the company of a lot of Gucci store managers, mostly from the US, dressed expensively and up to date but all the same in a way. Overall, I really liked my stay there and would always come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Milan.
The hotel is very old and despite the upgrade to a large room on the 4th floor, the overall impression is that it needs improvement, especially because there is no swim pool nor SPA. They offer only a regular GYM. The best part was the aperitivo with live music starting around 7PM. A must see.
The hotel is a very good location to be able to leave the car in their parking lot (I believe around 30 euros for parking) and to walk to all the popular tourists sights in Milan. The room was not large, but much larger than other hotels in Italy we stayed at. We bid 10 euros for the upgrade (via email) based on availability, which we ended up getting. So, the room was nice, large bathroom, double sinks, bidet, etc. but, the "garden view" ended up being a view of overgrown trees and a parking lot - don't book for a "garden" expecting a garden. The bar downstairs had friendly bartenders and were helpful in making wine choices. Front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about parking, check in and a walking city map.
Great location, spacious rooms, beautiful gardens and bar. Can't rate the staff high enough, nothing is too much trouble for them. Special thanks to Massimo in the concierge for helping me arrange surprise birthday balloons to be delivered to the room.
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and the room was quite good and clean. The service was welcoming and very nice. The staff recommended few restourants for us and they were very good. One very negative point is that the hotel had a very loud bar downstairs and kn the garden. 2/3 nights the music was so loud that sleeping was very hard.
So the building is an old classic that has a lot going for it, The people could not be nicer, I was on the fourth floor and had a ve nice Garder facing room. Tthe room seemed updated and a very modern classic, The have a great garden areas area at is an ideal oasis in Milan, Great drinks, a water feature, and also interesting people watching. Moments from a Meo line and 10 minutes to the tourist by an easy walk, Right next to a major shopping street and great park Lot s of nearby restaurant nearby, Rally liked he place. Can use some updating and which I have heard is in the works. Ju one elevator but it w never a problem. Would highly recommend
Because of the Starwood connection, we stayed at the Diana Majestic. A little worn but the rooms were large and comfortable. The GM and concierge were fantastic, but the hotel catered to a clubby crowd, inviting auditions to be held there for TV show. Not our cup of tea but it was a very good location by the park with good restaurants nearby.
This hotel is well located not far from the shopping area just 20m walking distance . The hotel is very special inside under an older building . The greenery garden make it very pleasant . The staffs are very helpful and courteous . The rooms are rather small and please do no open the window coz you will end up infested with mosquitos . The food served in the restaurant is acceptable and the price not too high . But beware , there is very limited parking in the hotel one has to resourced to park elsewhere arranged by the hotel for a fee of €40 per 24 hours . To get the vehicle needs at least 10 m . The rooms are relatively small but the shower is very least to desire . Hot water take ages once the tap is turned on and the stability of hot water from the shower is a nuisance , or too hot or too cold . TV set very old , color and sound faded . For the price paid perhaps one could get plenty of other choices . SPG platinum member not recognised with any perk i.e. Room upgrade , breakfast in the lounge and others .
