We really enjoyed Florence Hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. The location was close to a metro stop so we could travel easily. The desk staff were easy to talk to and helped us find restaurants and metro and bus schedules so we were able to get to our destinations in a timely manor. We were not able to use the WiFi in our room, but there was a very comfortable sitting area off the lobby that we found very pleasant.
I liked this place. It s clean and the people were friendly. The breakfast could have been a little better. It was 20min from the station but I like to walk.
We stayed at this hotel in 2007 and had a good experience-not so this time. There was mold on the grout in the shower on all walls and on walls outside the shower in the bathroom as well on the ceiling. This was brought to the attention of management. We stayed on the first floor which was very noisy as the trolley roared by all night and people talking outside of the window. Management said if they were aware we had stayed there before he would have given us a better room which shouldn't matter to begin with. Will try another place next time.
Hotel is very nice, good location very close to Corso Buenos Aires, where mortal people do their shooping with more afforable pricing. Overall, hotel, was clean, good wi fi service, excellent breakfast to european standard, ham, chease, bread, yoguth, coffe made to order. Directions in their website to get there are a little confusing though Loreto metro station is big and have many exits, locate it in map before your arrival.
The Hotel was great just a few minutes walk to Via Buenos Aires which is the main shopping street in Milan. The room was comfortable and ours even had a small balcony! The staff was also very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.
Staff is very nice. We had a fridge in the room and a very good breakfast. The street outside is noisy but we slept well. It was an excellent experience, we liked the hotel very much!
Late at night we had some difficulties finding the hotel, though it's really only a few minutes walk from the metro as we discovered in the morning. Graffiti on the hotel's facade didn't inspire confidence in the neighborhood, but once we were inside we were offered candy by a very cheerful concierge. The room was wonderful, high ceilings, big, clean, with multiple windows and radiators (we were there in January). Breakfast is provided and an actual person will make your cappuccino, instead of a machine. In summary: great building, great service, and only a few metro stops from central station.
