Nice hotel, close to Milan MXP airport.

The hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. It is in a little village on the way from Milan to Milan MXP airport. It was good, but the elevator does not go to the third floor. You have to take stairs from the second to the third floor.

Remote from Milan Airport but quite nice.

Finding where to get the shuttle to the hotel (15 euros round trip) was not clear, but with help we found at terminal 1 it is at gate 6 and at terminal 2 it is at the parking lot just outside the terminal. The drive was about 15 minutes. Service at the the hotel was very good. Registering and making arrangements for an early morning departure was smooth and efficient. Our room had a skylight, was clean and comfortable though not large. There is also exercise equipment area. Dinner at their restaurant was very nice. There was an anti pasta buffet that had lots of nice choices (even for a vegan) and dinner and service was good. Wine choices were also good. I would definitely stay there again if needing a hotel near Milan airport.

Nice hotel, friendly staff

The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was really nice. Check in was very easy, and the staff were kind to us foreigners. The room has a nice skylight over the bed, but ours didn't have a window. We found that a double bed here in Italy is bigger than what's in the states, do that was a plus. All in all it was a nice place and we would stay there again.

One night stop over

Stop over on way back from Amalfi coast. This hotel could be great the building had some interesting collectables dotted around and the restaurant gave an excellent evening meal, good on site parking. very happy with bathroom size and facilities. However, the air con in the room simply couldn't cope making the room too hot and stuffy. The room lighting was abismall, extremely dim giving the room a dungeon feel to it. Wi Fi not free and gave possible virus warning when logging on:-(. Better bread and cold milk would score the breakfast from frustrating to very good.

Nice hotel close to the Malpensa airport

We asked for 1 big room for 5 people but (probably because the hotel doesn't have any) got two rooms instead for the price of one! The rooms were small but air-conditioned and neat. The buffet breakfast was included into price and had a lot of food variety. The restaurant with the hotel is great: slightly on the pricey side but the food was excellent and service was pleasant. The hotel stuff was very friendly. There is a shuttle to the airport: 15 euro. And you do need a car if you want to go to Milan.

A little out of the way and the hotel was a little tied but for the money you really can't complain. I was on business and many hotels booked up due to large Expo in Milan so fell across this hotel. It seemed to be the centre of the village with lots of locals in the bar. Great food, friendly helpful staff. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very disaapointed

The room is dark, the shower drain coughed up. I can clearly hear the next door conversations in the middle of the night. The TV is a 8" with VCD and didn't work. The bed had bed bugs. According to the expedia, the shuttle cost $15 round trip from the Milan Airport and when I checked out, they insisted to charge $15 each way.

This is such a pretty hotel! The rooms were well decorated and clean. It was easy to get to and from MXP airport (Milan). The staff was very friendly and the food in the restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

good place, good price.

It was a quick stay. Arrived very late and staff was ready to help. Located away from traffic, which makes it very good for a relaxing stay. They seem to be undergoing repairs in the rooms just cosmetic, nothing that affects the stay. TV is awfully small, but that should not be a reason not to stay, just a fact.

Disappointed!!!

What a sad way to end an otherwise beautiful Italian vacation. This hotel is out in the boondocks-which wasn't totally unexpected; however, you would hope because of the distant location from civilization, the hotel would offer other amenities--not! It cost us 30 Euro roundtrip to get to and from Malpensa airport---why would they charge for each individual in family/group? The van would go with one or 10 riding, right!?! Anyhow, the hotel is under repair, very noisy, the staff not very friendly with exception of the afternoon clerk--she was nice, the pizza we had for dinner wouldn't even rank in the top 10 that I could get in the Salt lake City area!!, You're basically stuck there for the night and can walk a couple of k's to another pizzeria or a bar with gelato, but it is just too far out there. Had I really looked for a better deal it would have been wiser to stay in downtown Milano the night before our flight and the extra 30 Euro spent could have been used for the hotel cost--the cost at Da Mariccia wasn't all that a bargain! I would not recommend this place.

Nice hotel close to the airport

It's a good hotel close to the Malpensa Airport. They charge for shuttle service, even tho I thought it was complimentary. Mostly I liked farm, but for those who are not that excited about animals the smell might be disturbing. Breakfast was ok. There is no elevator going to the 3d floor, so I had to carry my heavy luggage upstairs. Staff was pretty nice.

Great hotel near MXP

We stayed at Hotel Da Mariuccia before flying from MXP, good location if you are planning to go to MXP, if not, is a little bit far from the city centre. * Pros: staff is nice and helpful, good restaurant, clean rooms and free parking. Great if you are flying from MXP * Cons: far from city centre and kind of old fashioned rooms
