I had a great opportunity to stay at here for my birthday with my girlfriend. It was amazing from the moment I arrived. Everyone was so nice and welcomed me, using my name, and helping me with my bags. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Amazing pool and beach area, artsy lobby and front desk, and beautiful restaurants. I stayed in a premiere oceanfront view room which had the most amazing view right out over the pool and to see the beach. The room had everything I could possibly need and want. When we arrived in the room the was the most delicious pastry amenity to wish me a happy birthday. All of the food we had while we here was spectacular, from the sweets we had down at the pool to the perfect meals we had at both Pao and Los Fuegos. To top it all off the show in the theater was spectacular. I would definitely stay here again.

Since you step in Faena Miami you will feel a stream of art!. Located 10 minutes away from Lincoln Road and 20 minutes by car from business area in Brickell Avenue. Los Fuegos Restaurant ideal to experience an argentinian barbecue while sharing a citric or sweet cocktail!. Veranda bar ideal for chilling out after a long business day or enjoying its live latin music. Juan Gatti walls are to spend time as if you were in a museum, deserves your time, 8 painting total will welcome you as soon as you arrive!.

This hotel is a dream if you like art. They have a beautiful bar that they welcome you to have drinks at, even if you are not staying there. Take your camera and dress well. The staff was very nice. It’s ocean front and very chic.

Area: The area surrounding the hotel was not what I had expected. It is very much still in the development stages. Not a bad thing per se, but don’t expect to be able to stroll out of the hotel to find lots of great restaurants and shops. That being said, South Beach is a short uber ride away or a very pleasant 40 min walk along the beach. Amenities: The amenities around the hotel were poor. In cloudy/rainy weather there is only one bar to sit in which was on the small side. There are no other areas in which to relax or read which is disappointing for a hotel of this price. That being said, when the staff could be bothered to set up the beach/pool these were great. The sun loungers were comfortable and the towels of a good quality. Room: We had booked to stay in a twin room and were really disappointed to find that the room had two small single beds. In the pictures on the website it looked like the beds were at least small doubles but this wasn’t the case. It would have been useful if the hotel had specified that on their website. Other than the beds the room was comfortable with a great bathroom, but no bath. The bathroom had double sinks which I always appreciate and the shower was great. Service: The service at the hotel was very poor. Surprisingly, very few of the staff had a sufficient level of English and often we found ourselves not understood. The staff seemed disinterested and not willing to help. For example, we sat by the pool for an entire afternoon (admittedly in cloudy weather) and not once did someone pass by and ask whether we would like any towels, drinks or food etc. In fact for 4 out of the 5 days of our stay the covers on the chairs were never removed from the outside bar despite it not raining for long periods of time. This resulted in us going to other hotels in the area to use their facilities instead. This was such a shame as it not only was an inconvenience for us but also resulted in guests taking their business elsewhere. When we complained about this the hotel did offer us a late check out, which was appreciated, but didn't really make up for the poor service. Summary All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, It felt more like a 4 star hotel at a push and I certainly didn’t think it was worth the money. The service was what really let the hotel down and for that reason alone I wouldn’t stay again, this being further compounded by the lack lustre amenities.

My husband and I recently stayed at Faena Miami and were delighted with every aspect of our stay. A big shoutout to Melody Miller in reservations for the excellent attention to every detail. From eating hamburgers in our cabana by the pool to having a butler to make coffee and unpack our clothes out experience was stellar. Be sure and get the private tour to see the amazing artwork from all over the world. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Faena Miami is a luxury hotel to make your bucket list and an experience you won’t forget.

Stayed at the Faena Hotel Miami Beach second week of May. The district has many Faena buildings. The hotel is unassuming from the front but the minute you enter the lobby you know it's something special. The lobby is vast with large gold columns and colourful murals almost Versace-esque. Whisked up to our suite on the 8th floor with partial ocean view the room did not disappoint. The twin queen beds were extremely comfortable. Mini bar, safe, toiletries, dressing gown and slippers come as standard. The toilet can be fully automated to douche after use...that took some getting used to. There's a long balcony which stretches the length of our living room and bedroom which overlooked the terrace and Restaurant with breathtaking views of the ocean. Fantastic rainfall shower cubicle but no bath in our room. The hotel has fantastic facilities with its own on site theatre, restaurants and night club spot, the Living Room where on a Saturday night you find the good and the great queuing up around the block to get in. They have live music as well as DJ and the music was fantastic. The terrace restaurant is the place to go for breakfast. You really must try the poached egg on smoked salmon with avocado on a hash brown with hollandaise sauce... to die for! There's a lovely pool, plenty of secluded outdoor seating areas and a private beach with butler service. At the back of the hotel is a fantastic boardwalk parallel to the beach which goes on and on. Great location, super service, fabulous food, an amazing beach, comfortable rooms what more could you want from a luxury hotel. It delivered on all counts!

The hype surrounding this place was, thankfully, not unfounded. My husband and I checked in to Faena after traveling from Anguilla that afternoon for a stopover before heading home to California. I wish I remembered the managers name who checked us in, because he took such attention to detail. We had booked an ocean view room, but were upgraded to a higher floor, and were given late check out. The manager made sure we had a great connection with the concierge, who he introduced us to during check in, and he assisted us in finding the perfect casual dinner out that we were craving. Our room on the 11th floor was beautifully appointed in vibrant reds and light teal accents. The rooms at Faena ooze Miami flavor, and are unapologetically bold, with beautiful South American influences. And the views! Our balcony was double-wide (two sliding doors in our room), and had a panoramic view of Miami beach and the happenings below. We were even able to see the famous golden mammoth statue from our room. We had breakfast at the hotel, which albeit at an expectedly high price point, was quite delicious. We spent the afternoon prior to our flight poolside, and absolutely loved both the frosé, as well as the lively service staff down there. Great attention to detail, and a perfectly chic pool ambiance. Overall, just wish I'd have booked a longer stopover. Faena is lovely, and is an institution worth visiting in Miami.

We stayed at Faena Hotel in Miami Beach over Mothers day weekend. Unfortunately despite being the most expensive hotel it turns out to be an absolute waste of money! When we arrived at Faena Hotel everybody from the bellhops to the front desk employees were trying to shake people down for tips. This continued throughout our stay in other parts of the hotel as well. When we stepped into the elevator on our way to our room, it was smelly and moldly reminding me of poor quality condos in the 70s giving off the impression that it was very poorly maintained. Upon getting to the room, albeit spacious it had very low ceilings and very badly and strangely scratched floors. The bathroom had very cheap faucets in the shower as well as terrible (cheap fabric, thin and overused) towels. What is it we were spending all this money on!? The toiletries were also of very poor quality. The walls in the bathrooms were covered in cheap tile that looked best suited for a motel rather than a 5 star hotel! The furniture did not look right in the room nor was it of a good quality. The main TV set was encased in a wall unit that deeply distorted the sound from the TV. We were further unpleasantly surprised by the severly weathered furniture on the balcony which made one want to stay far away from it! Rather than sit down and enjoy the views as should have been the case. Later when we were at the swimming pool that was shallow and had rusted floors, it was drizzling rain. We asked for an umbrella so we could continue being outside and were told there were no more umbrellas. Additionally, upon asking, the employee looked bothered and glared at me as if; is this man serious? They too were shaking us down for tips. I tipped well and he continued to look bothered. The most unpleasant experience we had was during the Mothers day brunch which was $125 per person. And it consisted of cheap mimosas and a mediocre buffet. We made a reservation for 1 o'clock and we had to wait an hour and were sat outside where the smoke was very strong from the wood fire grills. For one hour we were sitting at a generic, small and terrible table. Upon getting seated I asked many times to be seated at a different table but we were told there were no more tables so we had to sit at the entrance near heavy car traffic as well as person traffic. As an apology we were given a bottle of champagne. The woman in charge of this brunch seemed to be the only one even fairly trained. Nearly all the other staff were untrained or poorly at best. The worst experience in Miami. We stayed at St Riges last year and wasn't great but 1000 times better than Faena. It's nothing as advertised!! We paid nearly 1000 per night and were there for 3 days and I'll never do it again with this hotel! Leon Nitkin

This is an interesting property. The grounds are beautiful, including some impressive sculpture. Restaurant was great with impeccable service. However, when it came to the room, it was lacking a bit. Bathroom was very well-designed, with great chevron tile, and included a Japanese bidet toilet (a rarity in the States). But the rest of the room had some comical deficiencies, including when I went to draw the curtains shut for the night, the bolts pulling loose from the wall (clearly had been that way for a while given the look of the drywall). Similarly, when I went to hit the master switch to turn the lights off, the circle on the switch popped off and dropped to the ground. I also felt that for a “five star” property, I would have expected more cleanliness in the room. Nothing overtly objectionable, but scuffed up walls and dusty baseboards made a bad impression on me. Overall, I would stay again for the atmosphere of the property. It definitely has the trendy South Beach vibe.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Faiena on Miami Beach. This property is top notch! One of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. Vanessa Girord Made the best impression that any guest could have a check in. To be honest it was impossible to have a bad stay after the way she handled my check in!
