We arrived at 11:45 and although we were early were told that there were too many “late check outs” and “house keeping” just came in to begin cleaning rooms. And would be able to check in around 1:30-2. We came back at 1:30 and were told sorry we could not be given an estimate of time and that we would be notified. By 3:45 we checked again and the gentleman at the desk that was going to call us when the room was ready had left for the day and we were told they only had king rooms with pull out beds available although I booked 2 queen beds (for 4 people). Finally we got up to our room around 4:15. We came from NY on an early flight, we’re not even offered to go use the pool, bottled water, NOTHING except to hold our luggage from the man at the front desk. I expect more from Marriott and I book through Expedia all the time! Highly disappointed. If they knew they were going to have a lot of people checking in today they should not have allowed so many late check outs!
