Property was super cute, and the staff couldn’t have been more hospitable. We had isssues with our flights requiring a very late check in (3am) as well a very early check out (5am). Staff easily accommodated. When our initial return flight got delayed in the middle of the night, they were able to contact the cab company and reschedule. They made they entire stay so easy and seamless. Whenever I’m back in Miami Beach, I will definitely stay at The Cadet again!
Overall I enjoyed my stay. The staff was nice. However they are normally booked so don't expect early check-in. The hotel is small and quite which is great when you been out all day. There is a $100 fee for incidentals that they hold and $37.50 resort fee (the resort fee is non refundable). However almost as soon as I landed back home I was refunded. No microwave or coffee maker in the room and no elevator that was a big bummer. No full length mirror in the room. A full length mirror is a must. However it's a 7minute walk from Miami Beach and a 10 minute LYFT or 39min walk from the beautiful south Pointe beach. The hotel restaurant was tasty and I would book here again. I hope they listen to the feedback and make these minor changes to create a 5 star experience.
The hotel dosen't offer parking, which is a hassle. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is in great location, close to Lincoln Road and restaurants.
The room was VERY SMALL- the bathmat was a hand towel and we ran out of TP and facial tissues.
Everything is very nice. It's only "OK" because our room, 102, was too noisy. The hotel across James Ave. has an outdoor space that played club music until 3am (thump, thump, thump). Then when breakfast service at Cadet started (7 am?) we heard recorded piano music.
I like the decor and the breakfast. The jacuzzi didn’t work however-it was FREEZING! The staff seemed to know have much knowledge of anything. Also didn’t get to experience the spa. If I could be refunded for my stay I would.
Close to the beach and close to all the food. Great location, friendly staff and great scenery especially at night.

Friendly staff, who waived my resort fee. Dusty and moldy rooms You can’t control the air conditioning temperature yourself. There was a moth on my pillow Stains on sheet and towels. Cramped rooms.
My stay was great! The hotel is close to the beach and the staff was amazing. The room smells like lavender, which could potentially be overbearing to some, but I didn’t mind. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Cadet Hotel is more like a home than an impersonal corporate hotel. My room was comfortable and clean, overlooking the well-kept back garden patio. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. Do not underestimate the location. Within two blocks, you can walk to the beach, Lincoln Rd. Mall (with many restaurants and shops), and a CVS drugstore (essential for any traveler who forgot to pack something or just needs more sunscreen). There is a concert hall designed by Frank Gehry and numerous Art Deco buildings. It sits comfortably far away from the high concentration of youth hostels to the south. All the hotels in the area charge a daily "resort fee," but Cadet's was the most affordable I've seen. It pays for use of the pool and two lounge chairs on the beach, and lying in the sun staring at the aquamarine water is worth every penny.

Hotel has no parking lot and parking is 25 dollar the night. But the hotel was great overall
I would rate my stay there a 3, because of the small size of the room, the location of the A/C until over your head instead of across the room and a sewer smell in the bathroom. Had to buy some frebreeze air spray. I would stay there again, but in a suite room.
