Staff in the morning were very rude.

The building outside is not clean, some trash around the parking areas. And the trash cans outside building are full of trashes. The breakfast area, the pancake makers are broken. Nobody cares.

Filthy and smelly. Front desk staff was being trained but scolded rather than molded for every mistake. The place was dirty and musty and smelled moldy. Disgusting

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

We only needed a place to sleep for 6 hours. Shockingly busy place when we arrived at midnight. Only one person staffed, I felt bad for her trying to keep up with the line of people and numerous phone calls. Multiple things broken or out of order, and falling apart in disrepair. Room smelled like cigarette smoke despite being non smoking, my clothes still smelled after I left. Several lamps were burnt out, minimal amenities in the room. On a plus side, it had an amazingly clean and nice shower. There was a loud biker gang staying for the night. It was raining and they were hanging out under the awnings by the doors drinking and smoking and blocking entrance, I think this was circumstantial, and not the hotel's fault, but certainly didn't help our overall experience.

This is by far the worst stay ever! We were in the area for a soccer tournament and stayed one night. First, as we entered the building to get to our room, it was wreaking cigarette and marijuana smell all throughout the hallway. The bathroom tub was full of pubic hair, it was obvious they did not clean the room. The sink also had hair in it. Disgusting to be honest! We had to sleep over the blankets on the bed and use our own blankets. No breakfast was available; even it were, I don't think we would have had the courage to get some. Finally, the parking lot had so many potholes, they need to consider patching. Overall, a horrible, nasty stay. I would never go back there again.

We always try to stay at La Quinta's because we travel with a dog. We appreciate that we are able to get pet friendly accommodations. Our room was clean enough but the exterior of the place is getting very run down. We've been staying at this location one or two times a year for the last 8 years. The carpets are very worn throughout. We stayed in another La Quinta that had ceramic tile in the rooms and thought that was a great idea for a pet friendly motel. Seems like it would be so much easier to keep clean!! We don't smoke but the hallway was full of the odor of stale cigarettes. Another point to be made for tile. Outside the exterior doors were full of cigarette butts. Containers for disposing of cigarettes outside each exterior door would seem like a good idea.

The quality is decreasing badly !

While the hotel proper was actually quite nice, a well-maintained building and kept very clean, the parking lot was ridden with pot holes and sharp, steep dips in the road. I needed to trust in my suspension every time that I drove through to get to the parking area nearest my room. Additionally, while the amenities were acceptable for short-term stays, the free ice dispenser was broken and seemed to have been broken for an extended time.

Roaches in the room, and carpets that desperately needed to be replaced. Blech

Bed bugs and roaches. Horrible. They did not detect .

The Picture on Orbitz is much nicer than the actual hotel. The hallways have a terrible odor, which luckily didn't go into the rooms. One of the beds did have a terrible smell. The room smelled of smoke. The bathroom was in terrible shape. There is no breakfast and the pool is closed. Luckily it was just me and my 16 year old son. I would not feel comfortable bringing a family into this hotel. Luckily it was only $82, but I still expected a better hotel, based on the pictures.

The outside appearance of the property was terrible but it looked really nice inside the lobby. The entrance to the rooms and inside the rooms was poor. There was a squatter sleeping outside the door behind the electrical box. We didn't feel safe at all. The room was dirty and so was the bed. We asked for someone just to come and change the linen and were told that they didn't have anything clean or anyone to change it. The customer service was very poor and I was just told to come to the desk and get my money back. There was no apology or questions asked by management.

Nice location. Close to shopping and Chicago and a nice mall.

Place was filthy. There was trash in the hallways, the walls were scuffed up. It looked like it hadn't been painted since it opened. Staff was nuce enough, but if I'm going to pay alomost $100 for a night it needs to be clean. Too bad I can't get any type of refund.
