The location is the winner! A short walk to the beach and sea. A restaurant is underneath which was very handy (great food). All in all a great place to stop.

My wife and I had an incredible time celebrating our honeymoon here at Jose’s place in Menorca!!!! The property itself is very cute and cozy and it is literally right next to a very nice, family friendly beach. We would wake up every morning, get ready, and walk less than a minute to go relax next to the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. The restaurant next door is also a huge bonus. The staff are hilarious and kind and the food/drinks will make you feel like you’re in heaven. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a fantastic time in Menorca! This property was perfect for us with two young children. Beautiful views and the perfect location. The beach was literally a 1 min walk down the ramp which made it so convenient to go back and forth. Some great restaurants in the area with a small supermarket. Everything you need on your doorstep. José was a great host, replied promptly to any queries. Would definitely be coming back to this property next summer.

Perfect location overlooking the beach


We very much enjoyed our stay, great location and everything we needed on our doorstep. Water activities on the beach such as paddle boards and peddle boat hire really enhanced our stay, particularly for my 16 year old son. There is also a small but well stocked supermarket very close by which was very useful. The week we stayed was very warm, average daytime temp around 33c and 25- 27 c at night, was difficult to sleep as there is no AC but we slept with both double doors open to let in the breeze and soothing sounds of waves breaking onto the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Apartment

The apartment was absolutely amazing. The view from all rooms was breathtaking. The apartment has all you need and more. The apartment had just been decorated prior to our arrival and the little touches are great. Jose was a superb host and communication was so quick. Big thank you Jose. Lastly the restaurants and bar underneath, along with the staff were lovely. We’ll be back.

Fantastic Location!

The house is located right on the beach with a lovely big balcony area and plenty of space for our family of 5. It is basic but has everything you need. The entire process was extremely easy as José communicated with us before we arrived and explained the check in process. José was also very helpful with finding a doctor for my daughter who needed medication. The area is perfect for young families as the beach is very safe for swimming. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance too. This house is perfect for a relaxed and easy holiday, we will definitely be returning.

Location location location

We had a fabulous time in José's place. The location is perfect, absolutely beautiful view with bars, restaurants and shops in walking distance. We had a 3 and 5 year old with us and the apartment was perfect, kids and adult bedroom don't share a wall. Kids room secure as window is high up from outside. Balcony wall, although a bit high and blocks the view when seated, is really safe for kids. The beach was perfect, some days so calm no waves at all so really safe for kids. We used the swimming pool at blue diamond resort with purchasing a drink/food which was lovely. Covid tests sorted with ease at local clinic, although there was a queue so take a book. All in all fab place for families. Jose a great host and responded very quickly to a few small issues with had, broken fan not enough wine glasses (!). Would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Menorca.

Beautiful location

The best holiday we have ever had. The location of the place is out of this world. You are literally on the beach all the time. The beach is very secure and there are lots of things to do for the kids. The beach is very well patrolled by the guards with one of them stationed directly opposite the balcony. We were able to let the kids play in the sea watching them from the balcony (or kids are very good swimmers) There are three supermarkets in the area with the closest one being 96 steps away (stair steps😁) You constantly hear the sea when you are in the house. The house has got everything one needs. We cooked our meals every night and it worked very well for us. There are, of course, restraurants everywhere, starting with La Paella straight underneath the accommodation. We didn't rent a car and had all our travelling around the island organised through Arenal Cars (next to the supermarket), which we found cheaper and more relaxing than driving ourselves. We will definitely come back to this place. Jose was a brilliant host, always ready to answer any question. We felt very well looked after. Excellent experience overall.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Stunning views across the beautiful bay.

This property is in the most perfect location! The owner José is a brilliant communicator which helps make the check-in process a 5 star experience..... Absolutely fantastic - you open up the front windows to look across the most beautiful bay & sea. One tip for future users of the this property, just be equipped for the mosquitoes and bugs, because it is so close to the sea this also brings with it the local wildlife! I highly recommend José and his property for you if you want the perfect location - you will make memories for life! The local people of Menorca are friendly and the sea is stunning.

Fantastic views

Lovely week in menorca. The weather was not kind to us, cloudy most of the time but did not dampen our spirits as hired a car so got to see slot of island. Apartment is lovely, excellent position on beach. Has all the essential 's you need for a self catering holiday, kettle, toaster, microwave, cooker, cutlery. Bath towels and linen provided. 2 showers and toilets. View from balcony is amazing, panoramic view of bay. Shop very close for everyone you need and some lovely restaurants very close by, all with open top dining with views over the bay. We would definitely return again and communication with owner Jose was excellent. Thanks Jose.

Beautiful Spot

This property is in an excellent location. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and we spent the week either on the beach or admiring the wonderful view from the apartment. Shops and everything you need is closeby.

3 generations of our family loved our week's holiday here. Property overlooking the beach. Large robust balcony looking out over the bay, perfect dining outside and ideal for a relaxing holiday with young children (no opportunity for climbing on railings) Excellent location for seaside or walking holiday. It was like being in a hotel but not paying hotel prices for food. Cafes nearby were friendly, no loud music, all serving good food. Beach had boardwalk immediately accessible from the front door, perfect for buggies or those with mobility issues. Fabulous coastal walks available to a variety of other towns and villages along the coast. The accommodation is simple but perfectly adequate for this kind of holiday.

L’appartement est bien situĂ© en bord de plage, Arenal d’en Castell est une station balnĂ©aire familiale. Les propriĂ©taires sont trĂšs attentionnĂ©, et vous donnnent tous les conseils nĂ©cessaires. Il manque peut-ĂȘtre la climatisation pour les jours de grosse chaleur, et un lave-vaisselle serait un plus Ă©galement. Il y a des restaurants sous l’appartement mais cela n’occasionne pas de trop de problĂšme de bruit mais plus de parking pour ce garer.

Incontestablement, le gros point fort de cet appartement est son emplacement idĂ©al : Ă  deux pas de la plage, avec une vue magnifique et ressourçante sur toute la baie ! Nous en avons pris plein les yeux pendant tout notre sĂ©jour ! L’appartement en lui mĂȘme n’est pas des plus modernes mais il est fonctionnel avec de l’espace et il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer quelques jours dans de bonnes conditions. Casi se toca el mar con los dedos
