Crowne Plaza Memphis East

Hotel was fine for the most part. Didn't really sway me either direction.

The hotel Condition is very bad. It is outdated. The rooms are very old. There was no wireless in our room at all. Don't pay a lot of money for this hotel, go stay at best western or motel 6.

A 5D/4N King room stay for me and my boyfriend, but once we arrived the hotel service rep stated they overbooked and we would be receiving a room with 2 queen beds. I continuously asked to be moved to the next open King room, but was told the available King rooms were located on a floor with NO WIFI! So really had no choice but to keep the room. Room service sucked! Out of the entire stay room service only came ONE time. We would have to beg just to get towels. The gym has a lot of equipment, but no A/C running, instead they have 2 small fans going which don't help at all. Jacuzzi was closed and outdoor pool was closed too. The Broiler room door remained cracked open and unlocked the entire time (hazard). If I could go back to square one, I definitely wouldn't chose this crappy hotel. It would be better to take my money elsewhere. This place is so not worth the headache, I'll NEVER stay here again or recommend you guys too.

BED BUGS,, WOKE UP AND FEET WERE BITTEN UNDERNEATH THE COVERS,,

Looks great outside but I believe they are under renovation still and pool was closed in the summertime? Unacceptable!

I picke this place due to proximity to the airport. Close, but without jets roaring overhead. I later saw mixed reviews on line which made me wonder if I had chosen poorly. To my relief it turned out to be quite what I hoped. Excellent staff, they turned out to run a shuttle from the airport (though it was not listed on the web site), a clean room and very comfortable bed, good free breakfast. I heard from staff ( happens to bump into a corporate visiting representative) that they will be doing a major overhaul on decor soon. Though the king room we stayed in was obviously slightly older decor and showed use, it was very clean and well appointed and quite acceptable and the bed was new (and quite nice). Although the room was near a service area no outside noise interfered with our stay. Good choice for the price. Good location to and from things. Other reviews had mentioned it being a bad neighborhood but I saw nothing to suggest this.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. Good value for the money.

It was very nice. The rooms were great and staff super nice. Hotel is very spacious and the location really worked for me.

Beds were very comfortable. Very good security with a gate at night.

Full service hotel, nice lobby and bar/restaurant! Shuttle to the airport is a nice plus

Initially, I thought nice a security gate at the entrance but later discovered the gate was an attempt to keep crime out... a mob of kids fighting an army of police cars arrived to escort them off property. Breakfast was horrible but restaurant staff friendly.

only stayed one night. The parking lot was gated and very secure. The staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms seemed recently refurbished and were very nice over all. All in all very good value for the money. Decent gym with free weights. Only down side was the Internet was a bit slow.

Easy to travel to and from, clean, and friendly staff

The hotel, overall, was great! The lobby is beautiful, the parking is free, and the bed was very comfortable. It was located close to the attractions we were visiting in Midtown.

We just used this hotel as a quick overnight. I called in advance to verify a rollaway could be obtained and they stated yes. Once I arrived, they said fire code prevented it. We also asked for towels and they were dirty. Disgusting.

The Hotel Memphis was just fine. Room was clean and quiet, parking was easy, staff was helpful. Not a luxurious place, but okay for a short stay. Location was good because it was only 10 - 20 minutes away from most places we wanted to visit.

Hotel and staff were great. The breakfast was excellent. Need up dated televisions in rooms had flashbacks of my childhood when the one in my room. My family enjoyed the stay overall.

There one night for business. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms clean and beds very comfortable. Free wifi and a well lit desk, and a very good breakfast made this a great hotel for business travelers. Close to airport is another plus. Happy I chose this hotel while in Memphis.

Picked this hotel inspite of higher price because of proximity to airport and bad experience with cheaper hotels before. It was a good decision! Locale was not ideal because of crime potential but the hotel property was nicely fenced, spacious and land scaped. Inside it looked high end. It's an older hotel you can tell because of some musty smell, and worn look of elevators and furniture and a box tv in the room. A big negative was the restaurant being closed and limited food fare at the bar.

We needed a decent hotel for one night's stay in Memphis, and Hotel Memphis was great. Very nice breakfast and staff.
