Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is clean, cute, & comfortable and the view is amazing. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway I highly recommend staying here.

Very quite and great house! Beds are comfortably and the view is beautiful ovee the river. Very nice outside area to enjoy! Definitely coming back.

Enjoyed our stay

The porch was great. We drank our coffee there every morning. It was close to several things we had planned to do that week. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice cabin for a group of four adults.

We enjoyed our stay at Trout Run Lodge. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Excellent view of the river from the deck. Beds were comfortable. The turn onto the gravel road from the highway is in a curve and very easy to miss. The gravel road is very narrow and has some rough spots.

Long weekend with amazing views

We loved our long weekend at this home. It provided room for our family of 4 to spread out but all join together for moments on the porch or at the kitchen table. Check-in was a breeze and check out was a simple process. We had a few wasp but that is to be expected in the wooded areas. Lots to do in the area. Hiking, fishing, caverns, etc. we will be back.

Very rough road

The property was very nice and clean. We planned to cook most meals and the lack of a dishwasher was not a big deal but it was inconvenient. Need more plastic dishes for storage and cooking.

Everything about this place was top-notch! Amazing views, super clean place and easy check-in! Couldn't have been better! We will definitely return to this very spot to stay again!

Amazing Get A Way

Stayed 2 nights with friends from work looking for quiet down time. Spent an enormous amount of time on the porch enjoying the georgeous view and gentle breezes. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Interior exactly as pictured. I have stayed at 2 different cabins at Mt. View (different hosts). The other cabins were disappointing. Trout Run Lodge did not disappoint.

Beautiful view!

Check in was so easy. Emily responded very quickly when we had no hot water and solved the issue. Nice and clean and beds slept good. Will return for sure.

Weekday Getaway

This was our first trip to Mountain View, and we fell in LOVE with the Trout Run Lodge. After a day of exploring in town we sat on the porch and watched the boats on the river and built a campfire. The cabin was spacious and felt tucked away yet close to all the things we wanted to do in Mountain View. We can't wait to come again!

The pictures don’t do it justice!

Our family of 6 had the most incredible short getaway at the Trout Run Lodge. The views from the covered porch were beautiful and the inside of the cabin was very clean and so tastefully decorated. There was plenty of room to spread out and the beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed a hike on a trail Emily recommended and the waterfalls at Mirror Lake were so pretty. Our only regret was that we didn’t get to stay longer, but we’re already looking to book our next trip to the Trout Run this summer.

Fireside Retreat

We loved the property and the secluded area. The property had really nice furnishings but could use a good cleaning. Overall we had a great time.
