Mantra 100 Exhibition4.0 out of 5.0

Two nights stay for business. It was very noisy from outside and inside. It almost felt as if I am sleeping in the corridor. Spacious, the bed is comfortable and bathroom is average. Otherwise the location is very good.
The mantra 100 exhibition street is basically one of a chain of hotels and apartments. the hotel i stayed in was a fully equipped apartment with all the amenities for self-cooking self-handling guest. the worst part to my opinion was the apartment's design. the bedroom is a weird cube closed by a rolling door. the air conditioner is in the living room and does not exactly cooling the bedroom correctly. thus making the bedroom really warm spot. also, no breakfast is served, and from my experience it can be a deal breaker to some guests
To be honest for the price it was fine and for the reason we stayed there being close to Rod Laver Arena was great as well. However.... the room/hotel would be pushing it to 4 stars. Our room was a little smelly as were the corridors and worn carpet in common areas. There were kitchen cupboards that did not close and the bathroom was tight and odd shaped. We normally like Mantra properties but this one is my least fave. Staff were friendly and service was good, efficient and as mentioned reasonably priced. It did suit our needs for 1 night but the rooms really need a makeover and good clean. Thank you.
Helped us to deposit our baggage for our tour. Nice lobby with sofa and drinking water. Near the park and stores. Room clean and big. Would definitely want to stay again for a longer period. Felt at home.
We had a spacious, clean and comfortable apartment on the 3rd floor. The bed was large and comfortable and the facilities excellent. The staff on the front desk was exceedingly helpful. We had a vehicle with us and they have an arrangement with Wilson Parking who have a multi-storey car park around the corner. This worked well. $81 from Friday pm to Monday morning is I guess what you have to pay for city centre parking. The building is conveniently located for Chinatown, Federation Square, the museums and the other attractions of central Melbourne. The only downside was the large building site across the road where noisy work starts at 7 am every day except Sunday. All-in-all, the place is good value. We would stay there again.
Was surprised at the size of this accommodation; we were on the top floor and it was huge given it's in the city. Definitely come back. Front desk staff exceptionally helpful and very hospitable. Thank you Shannen and the other staff, I did not get your names.
outside noise very loud could not sleep. front desk rang room at 2 min past 10am told us its time to leave . wont stay again even though room was clean plenty of room to move around shower not to bad bed comfy . we also requested a cot and high chair was not in our room when we got there took awhile to get it after ringing front desk .
Bathroom small and really only for the one room. Great location to everything, shopping, MCG & Rod Laver Arena. I would recommended this to country people as the is a massive car park to park in just around the corner and not tiny like most of the motels in Melbourne.
Ideal hotel for business of leisure purposes - the suite was well equipped and I could have happily have stayed there for a longer term. The staff were friendly and efficient and the location was perfect for Melbourne CBD.
We had a very nice stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful in the most part. Would stay again if prices compare. Melbourne is a lovely city and we enjoy our stays. Exhibition st is the ideal precinct to stay in for us as close to statione and trams
