Budd Place is a private oasis, and a perfect place to base yourself on a trip to Melbourne.
Budd Place is located a short distance from Smith & Johnston Streets at the border of Collingwood and Fitzroy.
There are lots of trams close by, and buses run frequently down Hoddle Street, Alexandra Parade and Johnston Street.
If you don’t feel like walking, the 86 tram runs along Smith Street into the city via Gertrude Street - the closet tram stop is a 5 minute walk away, on the corner of Smith & Keele Street.
The 11 tram takes you to the Docklands via Brunswick Street - the closest tram stop is a 10 minute walk away, on the corner of Brunswick & Alexandra Pde.
The 96 tram takes you through the city to St Kilda Beach along Nicholson Street, past the Melbourne Museum. Clifton Hill train station is a 15 minute walk through the Darling Gardens.
