This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and have found this to be in a great location, very helpful staff, clean tidy rooms with good facilities, easy access as we have had trailers both times. We have stayed in a motel room and an apartment and both have been great. Very close to shops, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and tram stop very close. Across from a beautiful park to walk around. As our room was close to the main road with the door closed it did not worry us. Beds were very comfortable and pillows were so nice. Bathroom in excellent condition. I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone.
arrived fairly late and left early, room was adequate, had a fridge and kettle. bathroom was ok size. lots of parking not far from melbourne and philip island. staff were friendly. quiet no road noise.
We have enjoyed the hospitality of this motel many times, the service & welcome have never changed. Breakfast always arrives when ordered & well prepared. Very good location, handy to freeway & tram stop to travel into the city. Room is always neat, tidy & clean & comfortable bed. A credit to the owners. Will be back when next in Melb. Staff always remember we prefer ground floor room, because of age.
We stayed last weekend and again this weekend. The location is fantastic, across the road from a tram stop and easy to find when driving. Free parking is also a bonus. The rooms are clean, comfortable bedding and excellent air con. We always stay here when visiting Melbourne.
They have a room type with complete kitchen set with electric stove, microwave, water heater, dining table and refrigerator. The room is spacious, can fit 3 adults. Just like 1 bedroom apartment. Very close to the tram stop and princes park.
Clean and confortable rooms with friendly staff and a very reasonable tarrif for a motel so close to Melbourne CBD. Easy to get to and find, with ample off street parking. Just a short walk to shops and cafes or to the parkland over the road.
had a slight problem that we had been given an upstairs room but they did all they could to switch us and finally found us an upgraded room on the ground floor at no extra cost and even came and took the bags from our car to the room. The hotel is on a main route into the city right across from the a park and close to lots of restaurants. Exceptional value for a city hotel.
Room 204 on Ground Floor, very clean & tidy good space in bathroom particularly the shower alcove. Route 19 tram is 50-60 metres away...takes approx. 20 mins to Flinders Street.7/11 store is located adjacent to motel. Lots of "shopping' down Sydney Road.
If you are looking for a good price hotel, 10 min from the city but near the Sydney road with a range of restaurants and cult life experience, that is the place to stay. Room is big enough, free parking and internet. In front of the beautiful Princes Park and easy public transport.
Only stayed one night but for location and price you want get any better deal in Melbourne. Check in was fast and Alistair was excellent in doing so. For less than one hundred dollars I did not expect such nice rooms with coffee and biscuits , free wi fi and parking. Tram stop right next to Hotel number 19 tram takes you straight to the city in 10 minutes. Myki card can be purchased or topped up right next door from the 7 eleven and is also handy if you are looking for a snack. Noise not a problem I think I have found my new choice of Hotel when I visit Melbourne again.
