We paid over 4k for this room for 7 nights so we expected a premium experiences and we certainly did not get it. The room provides only one access key. The front door has no ability to lock or unlock it from the inside so if one guest leaves the room the remaining guests are locked inside and cannot get out in an emergency like a fire. That is incredibly dangerous and a huge safety issue. We asked the host for a second key but were told they would not provide one despite the safety issue. When I questioned it they promised to get back to me and then ghosted us for 5 days. Awful communication and ignoring serious safety issues. Other issues:No ironing board (we couldnt iron our clothes before going out which is unacceptable. Even cheap hotels provide this). No bottle opener (a pretty basic provision in a holiday apartment,( I had to buy one) The en-suite shower head constantly falls out of the mounting. One morning it fell directly onto my toes. I’m not sure if broke my toe but it was certainly very painful for many days The couch arms are caved in and heavily stained No fly screen on external door so you can’t open the door without inviting countless bugs in There was a random clothes dryer dumped in the living area! Not functional just sitting there. I could go on. Highly disappointing. We ended up checking out early and paying to finish our holiday at a hotel because we were so unsatisfied with the room.
