This property is top-notch! Nine of us ladies gathered here to celebrate my 50th Birthday. This home is sparkling-clean, beautifully-decorated, completely updated, spacious, well-stocked, and offers stunning views. Bedrooms are like boutique hotels, huge bathrooms with modern lighting. There are clear and helpful notes posted throughout the home for everyone's benefit. Communication with host was friendly, prompt and helpful! We appreciated the preview videos to guide us with the driveway and parking after some snow. We enjoyed spotting several deer a few times, night tubing, dinner at Campfire Grill, a local brewery visit, the Spa, as well as games around the beautiful, big dining table. This home is perfect for multiple families or large group like us. Everyone had space for gathering, as well as cozy corners for quiet. I would absolutely book this home again. Thank You! We had the very best time!

We stayed at this house for a family gathering and weekend getaway, and it was a fantastic experience. The home is nestled on top of the mountain with beautiful views of the slopes, the snow tubing park, and even what we believe is the town of Elkton in the distance.The layout of the house is really fun and well designed. The kitchen overlooks the family room, which in turn overlooks the game room, making it perfect for spending time together while still having space to spread out. We also enjoyed watching football games on the TVs, which added to the cozy, relaxing vibe of the weekend.The location is excellent, just a five minute drive to the slopes. The host was very responsive, provided all the information we needed ahead of time, and was available to answer any questions during our stay.We highly recommend staying at this house if you get the chance. It was the perfect spot for our family getaway.

We had a wonderful time at this house! It was spacious, clean, and accommodated all of our needs. The kitchen had everything we needed, although the non-stick pans had a lot of scratches. We ended up not using the pans and only using some baking sheets and the pot we brought. However, all utensils/plates/cups and silverware were provided. There are shops within a 15-30 minute drive.Mac and Mary were excellent at communicating and answering our questions. I was very happy to have them as our host!Be aware that the driveway is steep. We did not realize that until Mac and Mary pointed it out. But Mac and Mary made sure it was cleared of snow before we arrived.My one suggestion to improve finding the house is to have a bigger sign for the house number on the driveway - it is easy to miss, especially driving at night.Overall, we had a amazing time on the mountain and I recommend staying here!

Great stay! House is huge with lots of fun games and things to stay entertained. Loads of bedrooms, bathrooms, and plenty of space to hang out. The kitchen is FULLY STOCKED with dishes, bake wear, appliances, gadgets, etc. We were able to make a full Thanksgiving feast without a problem! Views are great. Hosts are communicative, helpful, and understanding. Expectations are clear. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lynx Lodge. The home was cozy, comfortable and had amazing views!! We were in town having a "Cousin's Weekend" in Massanutten. We were able to also have some family members over who were staying in other rentals in the area for a game night. The house had plenty of space to accommodate the 10 of us staying the home and additional guests without feeling cramped. We really appreciated Mac and Mary being open to our other cousins joining us for dinner and game night at the house. We had a great stay and are already discussing staying at Lynx Lodge again in the future. Mac and Mary provided a lot of great information about the area and they were available whenever I had a question. They were great hosts!!

Incredible July 4th Family Weekend
From the moment we reserved to when we checked out, our trip to this beautiful home at the top of the mountain was perfect. The views were amazing and the home was setup perfectly for us, our adult kids, and grandkids. Plenty of room to spread out but great gathering spots as well. The long table made for a great place for our game nights and meals.The kitchen had everything we needed for making a full scaled meal to pancakes to brownies! Plenty of ice was also a nice treat on the hot days.The entire family slept well every night as the beds and linens are definitely top quality. Nice to have everyone wake up well rested and ready for our daily adventures. The bathrooms are big and were laid out well for everyone on each floor.The views from the deck overlooking Massanutten in the valley were incredible and we loved hearing the music from base camp. Since we were there on July 4th we had were able to see all of the surrounding firework displays which made for an extra special treat.During our visit we went hiking on the ridge, attended Summer Jam, had a blast at the Waterpark and enjoyed mini laughs while playing mini-golf and go karting. The house is in an ideal location for all things fun at Massanutten and the surrounding area.Favorite food spots: Campfire Grill and Hank’s Bar & GrilleNice little bonus at the house was the Koi pond, resident deer, rabbit and squirrel that visited daily!A big thank you to the host for opening their home for rentals

Perfect Mountain Getaway for Family & Pets!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful mountain home this past Memorial Day weekend! The house is spacious and comfortably sleeps 14, making it perfect for our entire family — even our dog loved it, happily running across the three floors.The mountaintop and valley views from the balcony and kitchen/dining area were absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The property was well-appointed, clean, and cozy, making our weekend getaway truly memorable.A big shoutout to Mac, our host, who was a pleasure to speak with and very accommodating. He provided clear instructions about the property and gave great recommendations for local shopping and dining, which really enhanced our stay.The only minor inconvenience we noticed was that the ceiling fans in the kitchen/dining area weren’t working, making it a bit warm during the daytime. But aside from that, everything else exceeded our expectations.We would highly recommend this property to friends and family looking for a peaceful, scenic escape. We’d love to come back again!
