The pictures of the property make it seem nicer than the property really is. It isn’t quite as remodeled and updated as the listing leads you to believe. There is new furniture but the paint job and woodworking is rough. Most importantly for us, the master bedroom is in the basement, and the basement smells musty. I ended up keeping my suitcase on the main floor so that everything I brought didn’t take on the musty smell. The advertising of exercise equipment… there is a bike in the corner of an odd closet space. The room with bunk beds and a trundle is smaller than the picture leads you to believe. The house is in a great location. I just think it’s advertised way above its weight class for the properties in this resort area. We’ve stayed elsewhere in the resort and were surprised by this one. Other places we stayed were as advertised. It isn’t a return stay for us, especially for what the cost.
