Stay was amazing! Only thing I really didn’t like about the room was the lighting in the bathroom. Im not a talking full face but it would be nice to see what I was putting on.

We are a family of four and thought our room was very comfortable. We had the garden room which was perfect, we walked right out to the pool and beach without having to go inside the resort. Our family had a great trip! I am thankful we picked this resort. The staff was very accommodating and the location was perfect!

Excellent location but overall service poor! Room very old and not so clean.

Awesome ocean view and room was very nice. Easy to find and lots of convenience around the resort

Nice hotel but a little dated. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Good experience.

Staff was very friendly, especially in the coffee shop and snack bar near the beach walk. Not great view of golf course over the roof. i.e. think there was some trash on roof outside of room. Room felt little dated but otherwise very comfortable and clean. Mattress was very comfortable. Can't ask for closer access to the beach. Was little surprised about $15.00 per day parking fee and on occasion had to park quite far from the hotel. Overall had an excellent stay and would choose Royal Lahaina again. Mahalo, Rick P. Was a good value for what it was, but everything around Kaanapali is overpriced.

This is the single worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room smells of mildew. The lobby smells of raw sewage. The shower leaks. The hot tub closes at 7pm without notice. Towels are not available after 5pm. Room service does not answer the phone, but will return calls one hour later. The concierge is a jerk. Every member of the staff answers with "well I didn't do it." I recommend staying at a $50 Best Western instead. Even if the roof leaks, you get what you pay for.

Overall good value. Nice pool and bar area. Live music. Private beach.

Got that Suite room and it was so nice ocean view. It was close to the beach and the weather was spectacular. The people working were a great help to us.

Everything about this resort was great. I will definitely book this resort again for my next trip. The staff, specially, the manager was great. She offered me an upgrade to the oceanfront suite at an amazing price. Nevertheless, it’s close proximity to baby beach and front street at Lahaina town was the real deal maker.

This hotel is close to the beach, rooms are kept nice and clean. Good snorkeling right outside the hotel. Paying for parking is a down side. $15 a night for parking. The bathroom ceiling does need a coat of paint.

Since we live on Maui there are many times that we recommend different hotels to friends and family from the mainland and Japan. We would not recommend this hotel at this time. Staff were great although very slow to respond to check in but the hotel is in dire need of an upgrade. Bedding was lumpy, (although clean) bathroom shower ceiling is peeling and overall things are dated and showing their years. We were first put into a cottage that was musty and moldy, asked to be moved to a king room which they did. the views are great, location fine and staff work very hard at what they do. Room service was excellent. Time to upgrade folks!

Stayed in one of the cottages, decor was old. No desk or anywhere to sit and eat or play cards in the room. Outside is beautiful, nice beach, close to everything in Kanapali/Lahiana.

I come every years., and always have a pleasant experience!✨

Great location and accommodations.the cottagrs are worth therxtra money.

Our stay started off a little rocky, because we'd requested a room with two beds, since it us as a couple and our 8 year old daughter, i.e. "The Sleep Flailer". We checked in and were put in a room with one king bed, but not enough room for a roll-away bed. We brought it to the front desk's attention, and after discussing it with management (I assume), we were upgraded from a standard room to a partial ocean view room with a king bed and a roll-away bed, no additional cost. We realized that the special requests can't always be honored, but we booked 5 months in advance, and they made it right. We loved the balcony, it was a beautiful view. The room itself was nice, the A/C worked overtime, which I guess is a good thing. The shower worked fine, but the door was always slightly ajar, so the water would run out onto the floor. Maid service was up to par, kept us in clean towels and they were very nice. There were 2 pools that we saw, but I think there are a total of 3. Towels are available poolside. Also, there's a restaurant in the hotel, complete with hungry/angry birds to amuse or annoy you as you eat. Nobody seemed too bothered by the birds, which I think might just be a part of island life. The food was good and the prices were comparable to the rest of Lahaina's eating places. Wait staff was friendly. The little store on site sells a little of everything, and there's an on site laundromat. Also, the luau "Myths of Maui" is held at the resort, and it was a lot of fun.

Hotel staff was polite and professional. However, facilities are dated and worn. Rooms are small. We had two parents and 17 year old daughter yet they initially booked us into very small room with one bed and no room for cot. We got that changed to slightly larger room with cot. Bathroom was very worn and dirty. Carpet was dirty. Hotel lobby was dated. Resort has few amenities and only one restaurant. One highlight was live guitar/singer performers. Very pleasant. Hotel is too far from most tours like Road to Hana and boat trips. Forced to spend too much time driving. Parking was insufficient and not free. Hotel needs to liven things up.

Would have loved to have a microwave in my room. Loved the view, perfect beach location. Needs to add toast to their breakfast. Had a great time!

Hotel was great! Room service needed to pay a little more attention to little things like when shampoo and conditioner run out, but other then that it was amazing!
