I reserved a room with an ocean view. Was shown a room that at other hotels consider a partial view. They tried to accommodate. The next two rooms smelled of methane. Finally a nice room with a view. Housekeeping came to do turndown at 9:30pm and we were getting ready for bed.
Great location in ritzy Wailea area. Wonderful restaurants nearby, shuttle offered from hotel makes it very easy. Special people work for Fairmont. Hotel grounds are ridiculously maintained, rooms are luxurious. Self parking was huge and included in resort fee. Stay here.
We selected the Fairmont Hotel because I was celebrating a milestone birthday. From the moment we arrived we were treated like honored guests.I loved receiving my purple orchid lei and my husband received a kukui nut lei also.Check-in was friendly and fast. Our room had been upgraded to a garden view suite. We loved it! Our room had everything one might want- a microwave, a refrigerator, nice glasses, an ice bucket and a corkscrew,as well as a hot pot for tea! The suite was spacious with a large lanai.I loved the way that the bathroom was set up with two sinks, lots of mirrors, fluffy bath sheets, robes and great water pressure.Everyone on the staff did their best to ensure that our stay was exceptional.I would love to stay at the Fairmont again soon!
They claimed the hotel has been updated but you can tell it is still very outdated. Service is not the best, no drinks by the beach or set up. Pool side chairs can be updated, the only thing I will recommended is the food at Ko, great service and food
This hotel is gorgeous, comfortable, down-to-earth, a total delight.
We spent 6 nights at the Fairmont Kea Lani for our honeymoon, and we LOVED it! The staff was so friendly, the food amazing, and the grounds were impeccable! We compared the Fairmont to other resorts (i.e. The Four Seasons), and it is, hands down, the BEST!
Beautiful place. Entire staff was always super friendly and helpful. Full service hotel with everything in one place. No need to leave!
Incredible staff, beautiful grounds, absolute paradise
The hotel was so beautiful. The pool area was gorgeous. The children enjoyed the pools. There was so much space for people. The had a hula instructor by the pool one day and the children( not mine), seemed to have fun. Just so relaxing and beautiful. My sons even had a ukulele lesson. I loved the trip. Very beautiful and peaceful
The hotel was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The cost for food at the two restaurants on site and room service was very high, but the quality was very good. The views from our room were immaculate. Definitely would recommend the ocean view suites. Overall my wife and I loved the hotel!
We got a great deal. I wouldn't pay regular rate for it. Rent a condo.
We stayed in a garden view suite, and for the price we paid, it was an OK stay. Our room was on the ground floor facing one of the side streets with a distant view of the ocean. It was nice to be able to see the ocean from the lanai, but the combination of the hotel vehicles and the garbage truck noise made it almost impossible to relax in the AM. The room also had tons of small roaches. Other than that, the room was spacious, and we loved the marble bathroom with 2 sinks.
Great place, spacious rooms, best location with private beach. Great for families. Lots of restaurants, tasty food.
We loved the Fairmont -- especially the "suites" style rooms. The pools, staff, restaurants, spa....all great!!!!! 5 stars!
It was very nice. The amenities were good. The hotel room was clean. The parking lot was a little far.
The hotel has spectacular rooms, an excellent water slide, and is very close to a fantastic beach where you can easily see sea turtles in the water snorkeling nearby. This is basically everything I wanted in my trip and I got it. Thanks.
Hotel was excellent pool was beautiful with all the towels you need Food at hotel was good but overpriced. There should have been Hawaiin music playing at pool area Room was a suite with tons of room and excellent maid service I would recommend to anyone
This was our 2nd stay at the Fairmont and we had a great time. The two-room suite works perfectly for our 4-year old and it is very roomy. This time we avoided the in-hotel restaurants, as they are abit over-priced, but did manage to find a good deal at their "cafe" for breakfast (bagels and pastries). The room staff is awesome! They even gave us a carton of half-and-half for our coffee. We'll definitely be back!
Beautiful resort, beautiful area. This area of Hawaii is very pricey though
We had a great time at the Fairmont. The grounds are beautiful, especially the pool area and lounges. In my opinion, the public spaces are better kept than the rooms, which feel a bit dated though are still very nice and clean. The staff was friendly, especially at the concierge desk. We will be back for another vacation.
