This is the perfect place to unwind and just enjoy nature, the quiet (even with a nice smooth very occasional chill moooo in the far distance, but endearing). Bring your bird, wild flower, plant, insect, snake and tree ID books and wander around the property at a leisurely pace while also enjoying a most splendid view on the hill viewing deck platform. That's also a great place for morning coffee or a sunset view. Sit under the covered front porch out of the heat or rains with 2 great overhead ceiling fans on new comfy outdoor furniture. Enjoy the deluxe hot tub, a cornhole game, bring a kite to fly or board/card games. Mountain bike or walk the gravel road under tree shade. The indoors has everything you need and is perfectly decorated and so comfy. There is cold AC in the summer (also has a good wood stove for winter). Internet WiFi is fast for TV viewing apps or work (has a great private office room). Bedrooms (nice main floor one and super spacious loft one) and mattresses were heavenly for deep sleep after exploring the place and local area. Go horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking or use the pool just a few minutes away at Lost River State Park. Take a dip in the Trout Pond recreational area. Check out the small town of Matthias and nearby local charming businesses and crafts. Get some local grown meats at a great shop nearby. The small general store has everything you need if you forget anything. Bring flashlights for evening strolls, too! A perfect getaway.
