Matagorda Outfitters River Rental is the perfect get away to enjoy our piece of coastal paradise. Accommodations to fit a small weekend get away or the whole family for a lengthy amount of time. Our property is 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Located right on the Lower Colorado River. You can fish from the backyard and enjoy an under 5 minute drive to the beach. It has been newly renovated in March of 2022 and has all new furniture, paint and linens.
The vacation home features 2.5 bathrooms and space to spread out with 4 bedrooms.

There were 3 coffee cups for 9 registered guests and not enough flatware for the 6 who actually came. No dish rag or dish towels. A blind was down, exposing the whole bedroom to the river. No reading lamps in the bedrooms. Lots of leftover things from prior guests. The water was lukewarm at the best of times. Just not well managed, but the sheets were clean and the ac worked.

Home appeared clean but didn’t feel clean because of the roaches and some of the old pots and pans. Upon stripping the beds as instructed, one of the mattress pads and mattress was badly stained with urine stains. We never maintained constistent WiFi service which made it impossible to watch TV or provide any type of electronic entertainment that required internet. There were also several large ant beds which limited letting the kids play outdoors.

The property was kind of run down. Stove didn’t work properly, ice make keep dumping ice overflowing, dirty laundry in the washing machine, front door wouldn’t stay closed, the floor of the upstairs shower feels like you are going to fall through, Up stairs toilet seat was messed up, and the a/c quit working in the middle of the on Saturday.

We enjoyed our stay here. We had a view issues with the A/C and ants but Kali & Thomas were quick to get the issues resolved and were very helpful! Would definitely stay again.

It was fun to be able to fish and crab from pier in backyard; no dishwasher and no wifi nor cable was a bummer…most of bath towels were too stained and worn out; washer and dryer a great help and plenty of room for family. We gave it a 4
