Great value for a stopover on the way south.

A useful hotel for a trip from England to the south of France. It’s easily accessed off the Autoruoute north of Lyon and is a comfortable 6 or 7 hours from Calais. Hotel was good value for the price. Restaurant wasn’t open for dinner but the hosts directed us to a lovely Italian place nearby which was excellent. A great value, clean, and comfortable three star.

Ideal Location for Day Trips

I stayed for 7 nights as a “home base” for travel into Lyon and day trips to Mont Blanc, Rocamadour, Provence, etc. It’s a good location outside of the city and close to freeways. There are two restaurants and two supermarkets near enough for great dinners and groceries.

Clean hotel, good restaurant and great staff.

We enjoyed quiet rooms on the top floor. Elevator is being installed. Staff carried our big bags both up and down. Parking is good and so is restaurant. Staff searched maps and printed instructions to Airport St. Expéry near Lyon. Staff gave us good tips (driving along SaÎne into Lyon, parking tips at Bellecourt in Lyon.)

Le restaurant attenant de l'hÎtel n'est pas trés au top... Nous sommes arrivés a 19h pour manger et le temps que le serveur passe son temps à j'acassé à toutes les tables on nous à pris notre commande à 19h30. Celle ci est arrivée à 20h30 nous sommes enfin servis mon mari qui voulait un palette de boeuf saignante l'a eu cuite a point et moi j'ai pris une andouillette sans sauce annoncé et j'ai eu droit à ce plat badigeonner de moutarde aux grains pas trés bon j'avais commandé des frites j'ai eu des carottes et du brocolis en fait les serveurs ne sont pas à l'écoute de leur clients et négligent leur professionnalisme dommage on n'y reviendra plus on a été trÚs déçus..
