I’m in this hotel right now, there is no minibar in the room. The hotel is close to the sea, it takes like 20 euros to the city center with the taxi. When we entered the room, the beds were looking like there hadn’t been a cleaning before us. I took the photo I shared as soon as I came to the room.
A “okay” hotel. A small pool for comfortable swimming 4-5 people, one dish for breakfast - fried eggs with bacon, small number. An enormous plus - a big supermarket located next to the hotel. An enormous minus - where many people come the same time there’s no enough space for them at the reception and in the restaurant. Quiet okay for 3-4 days living. By the way, tremendous Wi-Fi, if you want to send a message, you should go to the restaurant on the 1-st floor.
Centrally controlled heating/cooling. However bed was comfortable, room was clean, fridge was handy. Would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities. Noise travels between rooms which is annoying. Reception staff were very friendly and responsive. Breakfast is very good.
This is a functional hotel with basic amenities and very poor Wifi. Breakfast is also very basic. Its an average hotel for short stay only. There is a nearby store to buy essentials. Do not go there with high hopes you will be disappointed.
My Wife and I booked into Hotel Florazar for a 2 night stay whilst visiting Valencia for The Fallas celebrations and my wife’s birthday. Upon arrival we were very impressed with our stay, paying €60 per night per room. However shortly after booking the disappointment started. Upon entering the bedroom it smelt of stale smoke, I would say the room hadn’t been used for some time as the window walls were clearly marked with condensation ( Windows not being opened) the ceiling above the bed was also temporary repaired with adhesive tape to secure loose ceiling plaster. Upon looking out of the window it was clear that the carpark was full with no spare parking bays and several coaches parked. When venturing down for dinner we asked for the menu to be given a slip of paper with a choice of 2 starters, 2 main course and 2 pudding options.....that was it the entire meal options..no prices and only in Spanish...luckily not a problem to us but clearly to other guests. Why with a full hotel would this be the only evening meal options. The following day due to the above we decided to eat out at a local restaurant but beforehand wanted a pre dinner drink at the bar at 8pm only to be told the bar wasn’t open until 9pm.....we were then advised that there was a vending machine for soft drinks. As I noticed the coffee machine was on I requested 2 coffees again to be told the bar wasn’t open until 9pm , despite 2 staff working on reception immediately adjacent and who chatted with each other throughout. I suggest that only one reception staff was needed and maybe employ a bar staff or couldn’t the 2 staff multitask. Whilst at reception I also enquired about where the swimming pool was....to be told, it’s not open......as can be seen it was 32*C outside. Upon pool inspection it appeared very able to be used. Such a shame about the above as this could be a great hotel if management could sort out service standards. Wouldn’t stay again unfortunately
WIFI is terrible and not working properly. This is 22:00 on 13 March 2019. Just now I said the lady in the reception that the WIFI is terrbile. She accepted. Then I asked if anyone could solve this problem. She said "Technical people do not work in the hotel at night. I can not help you." I said: "If this hotel is open for 24 hours than technical people should be available 24 hours." She said "I can not help you. Only the reception is open for 24 hours."
The hotel is beside a busy roundabout, a lot of traffic noise. The reeption is lean and fresh, small bar and dining area. Room on seond floor have a damp smell, they were clean we had two rooms and one had a hole in the wall, both would benifit from some paint, carpet was a bit worn as well. Breakfast was basic Spanish, lots of breads, scrambled eggs, what looked like tinned sausages and bacon didnt look well cooked. fresh meat and cheese, fruit juices and some fruit. most of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bar was not well stocked and any bottles that were used were not replaced. For the price it was ok and it was handy as we were going to the Moto GP so we didn't need to be central. Great restaurant in the shopping center next door, and theres also a McDonalds.
Hotel is far from the city center but has a big carrefour supermarket just behind the hotel. Very helpful staff. Rooms are bigger and clean. We were in a tour group and they prepared us a nice dinner with paella as the main course. The hotel is walking distance to the beach and several nearby places to eat.
A very professional and comfortable hotel in a superb location with plenty of beaches, restaurants a small drive away. The nearest beach is 4 minutes drive away, and despite being a beach for the locals it provides a great walk with lots of wildlife along the bushes. It's also next to a very big supermarket and several places to eat. The restaurant on the ground floor opens at 20:15...a bit late for most UK visitors. This hotel is only really suited for people with a vehicle, it's pointless booking if you don't have a set of wheels. My one complaint is they advertise they have a swimming pool but its only open during the summer...which they should really state. We wouldnt have booked had we known, though now we have stayed I will be back.
Stayed here with a tour group. As solo traveler got a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the supermarket. shocked to see carpets worn out in the hallway everything needs replacing. Very basic accommodation. No fridge. No tea/coffee tray. Dirty walls and the room smelt of smoke. Loose toilet seat. Didn't want to change the room as arrived late and spent one night here only. Grumpy staff.
