Fabulous holiday home with spectacular views
My wife, two teenage children and I had a memorable holiday in this fabulous holiday home in August 2017. The house has recently been renovated to a high standard and is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The views over to Capri and Ischia are incredible from all rooms (even the bathroom) and particularly the balcony and roof terrace. We happily sat and watched the boats and yachts go to and from Capri and watched the sun set over Ischia from the balcony or roof terrace, very relaxing, I wish I was there now.
Michele was the perfect host, he was there to meet us, he provided lots of useful information in the house, he kindly suggested places to visit and activities for us to consider
There is an excellent restaurant 5 minutes drive up the hill: Nastro D'Oro. Friendly staff, great food and very reasonably priced too
Small supermarkets, restaurants etc. 5 minutes drive down the hill towards Sorrento
The driveway to the property is very narrow, our rental car was a Fiat Panda, which was only just narrow enough to drive up and reverse out of the driveway, but there is parking available on the main road if you do arrive in a larger car or are not a confident reversing down a narrow driveway.
There isn't a traditional 'sitting room' (but there is a sofa in the huge main bedroom and both bedrooms have good sized TV's), however with such great weather and wonderful views from the balcony and roof terrace we wouldn't have sat in a traditional 'sitting room' or wanted to watch TV anyway!
We would definitely recommend this fabulous house and excellent host
