Nestled in the historic town centre of Cassis, a short distance from the beach and port, this 80-m2 apartment enjoys plenty of sunlight, is air conditioned, and boasts a view of the sea and the chĂąteau. You can do everything on foot, making it an ideal vacation spot! Typical top-storey flat. This flat is the only one on the attic level. It was just remodelled, and comprises a 30-m2 living room a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, plancha grill, fridge, and freezer. There are also 3 or 4 bedrooms: 1 master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and TV, 1 bedroom with twin beds, a bedroom with a bunk bed and no window, and 1 attic room with a low ceiling and sea view. The living room also has a sofa bed. There is a large bathroom with a shower and a bathroom with a shower and washbasin in the master bedroom. There are also 2 separated toilets. Weekly rentals cost âŹ1250-âŹ1470 depending on the season, but shorter stays are also possible. Utilities are included, though a heating surcharge applies from November to April. Bed linen can be rented. Deposit: 30% due on reservation, âŹ1,400 deposit via a hold 15 days before arrival, will be reversed within 7 days if the apartment is left in suitable condition. Pets not allowed. Smokers not welcome. Arrival: 4 p.m. Departure: 10 a.m.

Cassis at your doorstep
This is the perfect location! You are a very short walk from great restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques, the beach and harbor, bakeries, and a pharmacy. The apartment is quirky but very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The rental agent was very helpful and always available and the owners son was gracious and friendly when he arrived to resolve our WiFi. The air conditioning in EVERY room was a definite surprise. It was so nice to be right in the middle of all of the activities but closing the windows brought complete quiet. The furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. There is actually a second shower and sink in the master bedroom that was an added surprise. If you want to be in the very heart of Cassis, this is a perfect choiceđ

Pros and Cons
Pros: Great location! It is in the heart of things, and you can walk right out to the harbor, restaurants, beach, etc. The apartment is kinda cute and quirky which I am fine with. Some people may not like aspects of that though for example the low ceilings in some parts. It also has a nice view of the water, and you can open the windows and enjoy the breeze. The owner communicated pretty well and our damage deposit was returned in full and earlier than I expected it which was nice.
Cons: Steep winding stairs to get up to it. Pack light if you stay here! ;) The apartment does not include sheets or towels so you have to pay extra to have those provided. We did that but were only given one bath size towel per person, so we did not have a single hand towel or wash rag for the bathroom or kitchen and to top it off the apartment does not come with paper towels. Just know what you are getting ahead of time and prepare accordingly! The kitchen and the dishes were a little dirty. We felt like we had to wash everything first before we used it.
All that said we had a marvelous time and LOVED Cassis!

Wer eine Unterkunft in Strand und City NĂ€he sucht, ist hier richtig. Alles super erreichbar mit toller Aussicht von dem Balkon. GroĂe Wohnung mit einem Highlight im Schlafzzimmer: die Dusche und das Waschbecken hinter einer schönen SchranktĂŒr! Man bekommt problemlos eine Parkmöglichkeit zugewiesen, die ich auf jeden Fall nutzen wĂŒrde, denn das Parken ist dort unmöglich. Das Befahren der StraĂen in die StrandnĂ€he ist nur zum Ent- und Beladen erlaubt. Ich muss aber anmerken, dass das obere Zimmer eher ungeeignet ist zum schlafen, da es unangenehm riecht und die Matratzen einfach auf dem Boden liegen. Da wĂ€re es schön, den Bodenbelag zu erneuern und ggf. Eine Lösung fĂŒr die Matratzen zu finden, die dennoch der Deckenhöhe entspricht. Unsere Kinder haben im Wohnbereich geschlafen, da war es schön, dass man die VorhĂ€nge zuziehen konnte. Ăberall Klimaanlagen, top!

Die Wohnung ist Mitten in der Stadt. Dadurch ist sie nicht super leise, aber sehr gemĂŒtlich.
Alles sehr unkompliziert, genĂŒgend Platz fĂŒr 6 Personen und sehr gute Ausstattung der KĂŒche. Nur ein bisschen mehr Sauberkeit in den Schlafzimmer hĂ€tte ich mir gewĂŒnscht, trotzdem vergebe ich 5 Sterne.
