The hotel is well located - quite central but far from the noise of the traffic - and clean. The reception staff was really friendly and helpful, giving me good tips about the city and answering all my questions. We just used the hotel to sleep but these were 3 good nights of sleep, no complaints at all. The free coffee and tea and the kettle were also a good surprise.

Room is to small, checking out takes to long, and bill was not done as agreed, so found an other hotel for the next visit, even when rooms was not as modern and new, at least they was bigger, almost Luxury price for max. Budget room

Location is fine with brilliant and ever so helpful staff. The downside is that the beds are very uncomfortable and hard. Breakfast was pricey -a continental with limited choices and there were plenty of alternatives within walking distance. Loved the central location though.

A very charming hotel that makes your stay possible in Marseille's old quarters, amidst the old Baroque style buildings. You can walk down to the Vieux Port and take in all of Marseilles's key attractions. Although the rooms are rather small, inevitable in view of its location the Hotel staff more than make up for it - giving you a warm welcome they are full of advice on taking in the sights and are also willing to help you with your spoken French. All in all a very fascinating experience !

This hotel is very close to the port of Marseille where there are many shops, cafes and ways to board transits to see the city sites. Room was really small but clean and staff friendly. Someone was available 24 hours a day for questions and they spoke English.

Location was great and staff is friendly. But they did not have enough bacon at breakfast when we had to pay an extra €11 per person for breakfast! And Internet has been horrible. Really not impressed. The closet in our room also smells like smoke, not where I want to put my clothes!

Sorry I have to say this but this is definitely the last Kyriad I'm going to stay at. Brought a group of 35 people with me and fortunately was met by two wonderful receptionists. That's where all nice things ended. The hotel is a refurbished old building in one of Marseilles historic streets and is absolutely a big NO for coach groups. The worst nightmare was the next morning. First the breakfast "lady". Unprepared for such a rush (can't understand why they tell you to bring the whole group at the same time if they can't cope with it) she was angry with the group, herself and probably the rest of the world. Luckily a young gentleman arrived half way through breakfast and helped out a little. Second the night porter. Never moved a little finger to help out at breakfast and when asked about certain things just replied "ask the girl who's coming in soon". Sorry to say so but I got another confirmation about Kyriads. I'm staying out in the future.

The hotel is at five minutes' walk from the beautiful "vieux port" where there are a lot of restaurants, shops, bar,... The hotel is next to a road but we didn't hear any cars during night. The personal is friendly and we were warmly welcomed. The hotel seems to be clean, however, the rooms are not that nice, they are small and they would need some maintenance. The breakfast could also be better, no bread from a bakery, bad coffee and fruit juices from a machine.

Perfect location for visiting Marseille, five minutes from Metro. Room clean and comfortable. Bed comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilites in room. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Would stay there again.

Location is ok, Panier, City centre and Vieux port (with a lot of restaurants) can be reached by foot (to visit Notre Dame better to take bus nr 60 from Vieux Port...). Possibility to book private parking. We stayed in 2 rooms connected (for 3 people), but the space was indeed too small and with heating not working (split only for air cooler, anyway there was an electrical heater). Ok for a stay of one night, good value for money (89 euro w/o breakfast)
