A beautiful hotel right opposite a marina and a level half mile walk to the town with a cafe on the way! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was stunning; so much choice and service was exceptional. The pool is beautiful. Good for swimming or floating with amble sunbeds and the gardens well tended and added much appreciated shade. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay with you special Sole traveller female

Lovely hotel

Reviews not great lately but the place is clean and tidy, staff lovely. The room we stayed in was gorgeous well worth the extra for a superior room and the shower was the most powerful I’ve ever used! Just needs more guests to make it a busy bustling hotel and I’m sure the next reviews will be better!

we were pretty much the only guests. Very nice hotel, room fine, food was less, as we were pretty much the only guests, breakfast was not always fresh and less choices. All staff were friendly and very helpful. A bit boring such an empty hotel, though.

Old charm ,but bad location out of town .

Considering it has 5 stars ,it lacked a lot nowhere near five star.Lovely staff however with it being the end of the season.A lot of facilities unavailable .Lovely giant pool no bar ,jacuzzi 30 euros half an hour .Nosocialable bar .Considering not full the room was comfortable except for the view and size of the shower .Could have been better.

Pleasant decorated room with comfortable bed. We stayed in a suite. Very pleasant helpful staff. Easy free parking. Need to drive a short distance to nearby public lot to access the town. Breakfast offerings were on the weak side not in keeping with the character of the hotel.

A glorious hotel

The hotel was a great experience in every possible way. We stayed for two extra nights just to enjoy the hotel and Marsala in general. The hotel is a splendid breath of the old world. Large and airy rooms, exquisite service, wonderful pool and overtly glutenous breakfast combined with a traditional ambience gave an impression of time beyond time. Somehow it felt like we were in a classic movie. We fully recommend this hotel to the couples that want to spend some quality time.

Large, Pretty property

This hotel has been renamed The New Hotel Palace. It was grand, beautiful pool area, ornate lobby and sitting areas albeit somewhat dated. The staff was lovely. It was very quiet, guessing that it was off season. The breakfast was not enticing, a bit disappointing. The same foods were out for 2 mornings so there was nothing that was fresh except maybe the loaf of bread to toast.
