The hotel was really nice , clean and staff are friendly . I was really worried about coming here because of all the bad reviews but it’s the opposite, found the entertainment staff great and so fun . Jeff (one of the entertainment staff) was particularly great because he always had everyone up and dancing ,big thanks to the whole animation team , . I would definitely recommend this place for a good short/long holiday , it’s also a great place to eat and relax .
Loved this hotel. Good quality for the price. We had a great time over there, its only 10 minutes from the medina, you can get a taxi for 40 dirhams (4 euros). The staff is lovely, we had a problem with our AC and it was sorted 10 minutes later. The food is lovely, definitely what we liked the most. The entertainment staff is really nice they encourage you to have a great time. After reading the reviews we were a little bit scared but we liked what we found for that price. We had such a great time in Marrakech and I would recommend this hotel for sure.
Travel dates 02-08 Jun 19 Party: 2 Adults and 2 children (9+3yrs of age) Package: All inclusive Flying from: Hale, Cheshire, UK I was a little apprehensive prior to visit this resort but have been pleasantly surprised with the experience we came away with. I am a business man who has travelled the world with my family and therefore have a vast array of experience I can compare this resort to. I have compiled a list of negatives and positives below; by far there were many more positives to share. In summary, we had an amazing adventure in Marrakesh and thoroughly enjoyed the culture, people, sites and weather. I would highly recommend this country and resort to anyone with an open mind. I thank all the staff for their hospitality and catering for our every need. Kind Regards, Dr G Chan Positives: We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment provided during the Eid festival even though we are of Christian background. The entertainers were very engaged and interactive with both young and old tourists The majority of staff were very helpful and friendly The shopping mail was a convenient 5min walk from the site with the Medina square only 15min by taxi. The pools were clean and maintained each morning at the crack of dawn which was good to see. Beds were very firm and comfortable. Arab/French music was very entertaining and pleasant to the ear even though I didn't understand a word! My children were entertained every day with access to 2 large and 2 small pools, a children's play area and simply venturing around the grounds of the site. Trips into the Medina were always adventurous with different experiences on each visit which my children have truly cherished. By far, the most memorable event from our break was the food produced by the magnificent chefs. We routinely had 3 meals a day which was varied, of excellent quality and very tasty. On the last day my daughter was tearful as she did not want to leave the resort which speaks volumes for the resort and the people employed to cater for our needs. Negatives (of which there are only a few): On day 1 we were dropped off at side entrance to the resort which was substantially less grand than the main entrance; this did not fill me with excitement but I am a firm believer in good things come to those who wait. Our room did look tired (ie. walls could do with a paint, bed frame with broken wheel) but sufficient for winding down late at night and sleeping. During busy periods, there can be very limited space by the pools and the food court. No recycling facilities The Children's play area could do with further investment as it is tired with visible signs of significant wear and tear.
I would not recommended this place seriously!!!!! The hotel is old, smelly full with ants and cockroaches,AC not working, staff disgusting, smelling, very poor English, all day on phone,no respect for the guests, dinning room horrible with bird pooh on tables and chairs, the food was out of your imagination .Even if I hade 10000 characters to write down my experience of this hotel will not be enough.
Hotel look's nice but not managed proffesional,AC didn't work in room, complained and they said they will come and fix...no one came, ants in the room, even in the fridge, breakfast not fresh, only the eggs, birds eating bread from table and then guests eat the bread...come on,close windows and turn on AC,problem fixed...easy, but looks like no one cares. This could be a lovely place but need some work to do.And also, check lights on balcony because some didn't work.
Well what can i say about this hotel. it is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. the food was rubbish. the all inc did not live up to being all inc. they had bus loads of people in most meal times they were looked after because they paid for there meal. we paid for our meals before we got there that's what ALL INC is at the only bar you can get a free drink at night is by the pool we sat on sun beds to drink our drink out of a plastic cup and that closed at 10-00 pm no shuttle bus.deposit every day of £10-00 each towel they were worth about £1-99 from prime mark you got your money back when you took the towels back. and they always had a funny smell the lad was always asleep when you went you had to knock on the shelf to wake him up.it is not for people with a disability two many stairs there were some ramps but they were very slippie. the door card was another pain in the butt i had to keep going to reception from the third floor because the card would not work could they give a dam now just said keep it away from your mobile it was in my purse all the time. it was my friends birthday while we were there i asked about a cake they wonted £25-00 for a cake for 4 people i told them no we have never had to buy a cake in any other hotel and we have been going away at the same time each year for years for my friends birthday.but KAMAL sorted it out for me with flowers on the table he was a great guy help us out all the time thank you KAMAL for looking after us. the young girls in the dinning room want to get off there phones and do so work. if i worked like they do i would have had the sack. there were birds on the bread and cake every day they did not move them off or cover them up poo every were my friend and i were both bad while we were there no gloves were warn by anyone. rooms were dirty i cleaned the floor myself one day it was that dirty clean towels every day that a plus safe in room plus, no water in the fridge when we got there. it cost me £18-00 for 2 cocktails on my friends birthday and £11-oo for a gin and tonic and a can of pop reception staff were rude did not won't to know if you had a problem. [mr manager of the hotel get your finger out and sort your staff out. and your all inc. holiday makers save all year round to go on holiday we wasted our money coming to your hotel or you will close through lack of holiday makers. do not say sorry we did not enjoy your hotel get your finger out and get something done about it
We are currently staying here in room 3024. Arrived 27th May. We were given no information about where to eat or drink. Most of the lights in the room don't work so spending each night in darkness. Spent the first day being moved about by staff to the correct location. The breakfast and lunch have been OK but the evening meal is not even edible. We are having to fill ourselves up on bread. We asked 5 different staff members for butter but never received any so ended up with no meal at all last night. The drinks are a joke. Ask for a beer and you get half a plastic cup of it. The main priority for all the staff on an evening are the huge crowds of paying guests that appear about 7pm. No service or attention is given to all inclusive guests. This hotel could do much better. It is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
We arrived and checked in and were taken to our room, as soon as we got in and shut the door we had a phone call from reception asking us to go back down because they hadn’t scanned our passports or given us a wristband so we then had to go back down to actually get checked in correctly. We weren’t told any information or told where anywhere was so we then spent the evening walking around the hotel looking for everything. We were kept up the first 3 nights by noise in our room from the neighbours, banging the doors, shouting, running up and down the corridor. We reported it to reception each time just to be told they had been spoken to for it only happen again and again. The hotel itself was lovely, nice rooms and pool areas. The food at this hotel was unedible, made me and my partner ill on the second day, there wasnt much choice of foods and at lunch time was a set menu so just a choice of two things which we were shocked by as it was advertised as a buffet restaurant. Half way through the week the main buffet restaurant was closed and we were put into a smaller eating area which was then taken over every meal time by coach loads of people who the waiting staff couldn't do more for. The waiting staff when it came to the all inclusive quests wouldn't do a thing, wouldn't get you a drink or plates or cutlery. The staff were always stood around on their phones and it seemed like a chore to them if you asked them for anything. I asked one for a drink at lunch time and was pointed to the bar area, when i went to the bar was asked for a glass? and then when i said i wanted a new clean glass it was frowned upon. Every day there was bread available which was very stale and unediable. There are also birds flying around the restaurant area, eating the food and sitting on the bread and also sitting on the seats. Which were covered in bird poo. The snack bar does edible pizza and chips for lunch but once again you have to pay for this facility. We took spending money to go on trips and see the country but we then had to spend a good chunk of this money to have a drink of a night time at the hotel bar and to actually survive the week by going out and getting food. If you were a paying guest at this hotel the staff couldn’t do more for you but if you had the all inclusive band on your arm then I feel as though the staff thought we have your money anyway so it doesn’t really matter. Even if you tip the staff it didn’t make any difference because the people who visit the hotel during the day must pay more money than the tips and that’s why they run around after those people and not the all inclusive or hotel guests. This hotel caught our attention because of the shuttle bus all day from the hotel to the main town, when we asked the main reception and smaller reception about the bus we were told this wasn't on anymore so that was wrongly advertised. So we went to this hotel thinking we would save money on taxi fares to the town and back only to be told this wasn't the case. This hotel also had advertised numerous bars and lounges which wasn't the case, the only bar available was the pool bar throughout the day which served very limited drinks and quite often there wouldn't be anyone actually working on the bar so you would stand around for more than 10 minutes before someone actually came to take your order. The only other bar open was the reception bar which we had to pay for every drink and this was the only other option as all the other bars were closed. There is also a SPA advertised, this was also closed so we couldn't even make use of the spa facilities. The only bar at night was the reception bar which then meant spending your own money, there was nowhere to make use of the all inclusive drinks so you had no choice but to spend money to even get a drink. Half way through the week the pool bar was also closed as there was building work going on so sat around the pool it was a hike to even get a drink. Then with the building work going on you had the noise of the builders smashing bricks and general building noise all day so your peaceful chill in the sun was far from peaceful. The staff were very rude at this hotel and no one really knew what they were doing at all. Most facilities advertised when booking this hotel were not actually open. There was also no animation team so there was nothing to do during the day, we just at by the pool the whole stay. There was no entertainment at all so quests would just sit around and then go back to their rooms, the hotel of a night time was like a ghost town. If we had known half of the information we found out I.E the facilities were all closed we wouldn't of even thought about this hotel and would of booked somewhere else. We have another holiday booked with yourselves for September this year and we are currently in the process of trying to either change the holiday or cancel the holiday completely as we feel we cant trust what you advertise at the hotels. I have booked numerous holidays with yourselves and feel very let down by what has happened with this holiday. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff are very rude and going all inclusive is not all inclusive so prepare to spend more money on food and drink.
Staff spoke poor English No English Channels. Shuttle bus driver didn’t speak English, taxi driver approached the bus and said he worked for the hotel, found out he didn’t had to pay him. Be careful .
We arrived 18may 2019 our room was covered in ants in the bed coming out of the walls in the bath we got moved rooms are dull and basic food disgusting ,pool not cleaned out all week,no entertainment, and the best one asked if we could have somewhere to shower before our flight home and was told to shower by the pool couldn't even provide towels for us .If you are coming here in the next few weeks please change your plan . DISGUSTING HOTEL.
