We enjoyed our stay

Very spacious home and grounds.We enjoyed beautiful weather during our stay and wildlife, deer ect on the property. We spent our days at yosemite national park, a reasonable drive from the property. The park was very impressive. Thank you for offering this beautiful opportunity to us!

Beautiful and well-equipped house

The house is roomy (3 large bedrooms), the kitchen is very well equipped, and everything is spacious and nicely decorated. We appreciated the labels everywhere telling us where to find things. The pool was lovely and we even had a deer visit us on the back terrace!

Was a good stay... Excellent communication between property manager for check in and questions etc. The house, pool and property are wonderful. There was a housecleaning issue that needed to be addressed... I contacted the "manager" and she resolved issue for most part.. I was satisfied. Would stay again in future.

Great stay

This property is as beautiful as the pictures advertised. Very quiet location with beautiful views and amenities. Our family loved the pool and patio. It was great to have coffee and eat breakfast looking at the mountains and blue skies. Softest sheets we've ever had. Great for our family!

Wonderful Home for Family Vacation!

We rented the home for 4 nights so our family could hike Yosemite. The drive was expected, about 1 hour, 15 minutes to the park entrance. The home was 15 minutes away from downtown Mariposa and 25 minutes from downtown Oakhurst (which had Vons, McDonalds, Jack in the Box, etc). The home was beautiful! Absolutely spotless. We don't cook but if you did, the kitchen was huge. There was so much room for a family to spread out. The best part was the pool, it was exactly what the pictures showed, felt more like an estate. Perfect for a late afternoon swim for kids after a day of hiking. And beautiful to sit out back. The only negative was driving up to the home from the main road. It was about one mile and very remote. Many of the neighbor properties were very rundown so we were not sure what to expect when we arrived. But once we pulled in the driveway, it was lovely. Again, very remote, quiet. Would absolutely recommend!

Wonderful property

Our family had so much fun enjoying the pool and exploring the property. Everything was clean and well stocked. The wine and popcorn was a nice bonus! Niv and Nav were excellent hosts.

Amazing Place To Stay

This place was 5 star all the way around. We would highly recommend it. Everything including the communication with the property manager was great! Our only suggestion would be to offer sheets instead of just a duvet. The dirt road was rough amd made us think we were on the wrong road, but keep going. The property is at the end.

Birthday visit

House and grounds are beautiful and very clean. Problems with pool cleaner was plugged and pool very dirty. My husband cleared and ran next day perfect. Pool loungers gone. I understand others ordered but not here for our trip.pool was reason we stayed. Since it was my birthday next day was scheduled for bass lake then next day had to check out by 11. So for us pretty expensive trip for not having pool. For people going to rent I’m sure everything would be fine. Peaceful, beautiful, clean and a pool. Last mile of road really rough but worth it. Nib and Nav great enjoy your try!

Nice summer vacation

We enjoyed staying in the house. Kids loved trampoline and swings. We tried some blackberries and blueberries from the orchard. We swam in the pool and figured out how to turn on the waterfall fountain. However the water in pool was not super warm. Next time I’d contact the management to make sure the heating is on.

Beautiful estate near Yosemite, great for families with kids

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at Hillside Estate! Beautiful landscape, spacious house, great pool and plenty of spaces to explore and play for kids: orchard with berries and fruit, rocks to climb on, swings with amazing views, slide and trampoline. The house was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we really appreciated the small details like the Keurig coffee pods and the bottle of wine.

Mariposa Estate

We all really love this place, beautiful home, great pool and nice quiet location. We were able to listen to the birds and the breeze through the trees in the mornings. The house itself was clean and well appointed. The drive to Yosemite isn't bad (~1hr), and it's nice to be near the small town of Mariposa. I wish I could give this place more than five stars...don't hesitate to stay here.

Beautiful Home

My husband and I stayed at this home for 4 days. It was a mini vacation. To get to the property the road was very rough, but once we got to the house it was all worth it. The property is gorgeous. The pool area was like being in a private space away from the hubbub of city life. The house is very large and very clean. The furniture was tasteful and comfortable, as was the bed. I loved the large bathroom and huge shower. My favorite thing to do was sit out on the patio, checkout all the beautiful plants and watch the sun go down.

Great House near Yosemite!

Spent 3 nights here with my wife and our 4 year old daughter & we all loved it. It's a huge house with a ton of open space. It feels a bit sparsely appointed, but it totally works. There's lots of room to move around, to play in, and to just sit & enjoy the space. The kitchen great to cook in (2 stoves!), and this would be an awesome house to enjoy with a couple families. Wonderful landscaping of the pool & patio area, while the rest of the property has been left mostly wild (which was really nice). The pool was beautiful, but could feel a bit chilly in the mornings & evenings. Once you've been in for a bit, it's fine. If you're someone who wants to be hop into a warm bathtub-like pool, though, it might be worth reaching out to the owners to pay for additional pool heating. Owner was very communicative & responding immediately to our only question. The house is situated between Oakhurst & Mariposa, which was nice because we could easily visit either. It's about an hour to the West gate of Yosemite, which was a nice easy drive. Our daughter loved the house & hasn't stopped asking when we can return. Looking forward to visiting again soon! I would definitely recommend this for a family (or small group) who's looking for some time in nature, while still having some great amenities & open space.

Great stay!

We didn't want for anything. This was a perfect location in between the north and south entrance to Yosemite, about an hour each way. The house was spacious and clean with all the modern amenities. The kids loved the pool most of all. Highly recommend!

Perfect Girls Glamping home

This was a great property! We enjoyed the spaciousness inside and out! The kitchen was nice and large for cooking, the patio was great for meals and games, and the pool was perfect to cool off and just relax. Property manager was prompt answering our questions. Our group had a great time and really enjoyed the house.

Great house in the Yosemite area

The house is beautiful and depicted properly in the pictures. It is in a secluded area and about an hour drive to Yosemite, but we enjoyed the scenic drive and the lovely home to return to in the evenings. Niv was very helpful and easy to work with. Highly recommend this home!

Fabulous base camp for Yosemite

Our family of six stayed for a week at this lovely home. The kids (ages 3-9) loved the pool, spending hours playing and enjoying the hot weather (in mid July). The fence around the pool and water alarm are great for peace of mind with young children around. We drove to Yosemite (45-1:30 min depending on which entrance) three days to enjoy the beautiful park. It was so nice to come back to the pool after each day of hiking (get there early to avoid the crazy lines!) The house has everything you'll need, including fun toys for the kids, air conditioning (fireplaces inside and out for the colder months), privacy, internet, Netflix, etc. The home felt very clean and the washer/dryer was a nice amenity to have for our dirty hiking clothes. We ordered groceries from Vons in Oakhurst for pickup, about 25 min away. The two refrigerators were good for holding plenty of food so we didn't have to go back to the store. The owner was helpful and communicative. This home is a great option for families with young children and those hoping to visit Yosemite. We will certainly be back!
