Amazing house to use as a base to see Yosemite. Great views, great amenities, everything we could have needed was there. The owner was very fast in communicating and checking on us to see if we needed anything. Would definitely rent this property again if we went back out there!

Communication from owner was great. We had a little hiccup with hot water upon arrival, but it was taken care of the following day. The accommodations were as described and the everything was clean upon arrival.

Private scenic property located a couple of miles out of town. Great place for two or three couples with the large kitchen, dining room and pool table. Sit out on the covered porch to relax after a day in the park

Peaceful stay

We had a great stay at this home. The house was super clean and had a very well stocked kitchen. It is perched on a quiet hillside with beautiful views and overall was extremely peaceful. We will likely be back here for another trip!

Home away from home

Beautiful views from the house. House was wall equipped with a great pool table and hot tube that my family enjoyed. Close to town and restaurants.

Perfect Yosemite Retreat!

Loved every minute of our stay. The views in every direction were amazing. Was a great home base for going to Yosemite. So peaceful and relaxing to return to in the afternoons. The whirlpool tub was wonderful. We also enjoyed how close it was to Mariposa, with many great restaurants. Kitchen was well-equipped. Beds comfy. Our host was very responsive and helpful.

Good base location for Yosemite

We had an enjoyable few days at the house while we visited nearby Yosemite. It was great to have a hill that was very quiet and private. There are a few other houses nearby, but we rarely saw anyone else. Great nearby gas and groceries. Communication was prompt and clear.

Hidden Gem in Mariposa

Akila was a great host and responds quickly. The house is clean and well organized. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay comfortably. Very close to restaurants, gas, and grocery. Great base camp to Yosemite Arch Rock entrance on highway 140. We will definitely come back in our next Yosemite adventure.

The house was clean and beautiful. The host was very responsive.

We loved the house! It was clean and so well organized. The pool table and hot tube were awesome. One of our favorite things was to watch the wildlife visit the water feature in the back yard. So many birds! Nice quite neighborhood. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing mountain retreat

We used this home as our base for visiting Yosemite. The house itself is amazing and surrounded by beautiful views. The kitchen is fully stocked. Akila has made it super easy to use all of the amenities from a fireplace (we did not use) to a hot tub (we did use!) The beds are comfy and the home is spacious. My teens loved using the pool table. The only downside for us was that it is about an hour drive to get to Yosemite. Not bad but still a little bit of a drive. We at a new BBQ place in Mariposa and it was fantastic! We would absolutely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

Roomy comfortable house, beautiful setting

I considered cancelling our trip due to the Oak wildfire. When I contacted the owner about my misgivings, she gave me detailed information about the current status, and good sources of information about updates. This eased my mind and we decided to go forward with our stay - I’m so glad we did. The house was large and cozy. The beds were very comfortable, there was lots of storage space, and we enjoyed relaxing in the common areas after long days of hiking. The location in Mariposa was beautiful, and convenient for exploring Yosemite. Gorgeous views from the house. Communication was excellent - very detailed and comprehensive, as well as warm and welcoming. We’d love to come back and stay here again. Thank you!

The property was as advertised, and better. The owner was accessible and prompt in response. The property is perfect. She goes above and beyond with very clear instructions. Nothing is ambiguous. Great stay because of the owner. Also, drive into town for the donut shop. Perfect for the drive back to SFO! Thanks Akila. You definitely made the stay worth while!!!

Great secluded location!

The cabin was great - given that we are very private and like our privacy, it was perfect. The house was well stocked and clean and the internet was very fast.
