Stayed 3 nights. This is a historical house turned into a very comfortable hotel. Excellent location: a very short walk to the downtown trendy shopping district or to the beach. Neighbourhood was quiet and secure, even very late at night. The hosts are extremely accommodating and gracious; helping carry luggage upstairs or ordering pizza when it was inconvenient to go outside. The breakfast was amazing and the room was perfect. They offered 'insider' tips on where to visit, where to eat and when to go. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, small balcony was excellent for sunny morning sitting with tea or sunset watching with evening beers. Jetted tub and towel warmer was very nice. Secured parking on site but streetside parking is fine too. This was an excellent choice for us, and one we will return to when we revisit MdP. English spoken by the hosts was perfect since our Spanish was minimal. This place exceeded our expectations, thanks to the hosts.
