We were disappointed with the condition of the room upon arrival. The room did not appear to be properly cleaned. There was a noticeable urine smell coming from the couch, the floor was quite dirty, and the door handles were very loose, which raised some safety concerns. In addition, the cups and plates provided were not clean and needed to be washed before use.

This was a great place to stay. Right on Lake Macquarie. Very relaxing. Great cabin, staff and communication. When there was an issue with one of the toilets on site, or when aclean up neededto be done on the jumping pad, a text message was sent out letting us all know. Also liked the fairy lights around the very clean bbq just behind our cabin. And the sound of frogs in the creek behind us was amazing.

Asked for late check in as we had to travel from Brisbane, the young lady I spoke was friendly and I had no problem organising the later check in. We were only staying 2 nights to attend an 80th birthday celebration so we booked the budget room. It was enough for what we needed. The shower pressure and temperature was great. However budget room is exactly that, I wouldn’t book you want space and upper market room. It was clean and tidy, would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Bed was clean but that’s about it. Room was grubby overall, they didn’t even attempt to vacuum it. A couple of colleagues were staying there and they said theirs was the same. It was cheap but not cheap enough for that.
