Mankato City Center Hotel

Our overall stay was very good. There was a kids baseball tournament going on the same weekend and the hotel was full of kids because they got rained out. Our room was on the third floor and overlooking the pool. Very noisy. It echoed.

The room had not been dusted for quite some time....the floor was vacuumed and the rest was ok.

Good place to stay if needing to be in downtown Mankato. They need to put up curtains that are more than sheer curtains. The "black out " curtains were only ornaments and didn't pull close. Privacy and outside steeet lights a bit of an issue.

Hectic trip with a lot of in and out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Sadly unable to take advantage of what looked like a very nice pool.

Nice hotel, close to the Verizon Wireless Center, where we attended a convention of Jehovah's Witnesses.

We were extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of this hotel! Found a bug in one of the beds! The area surrounding the whirlpool was absolutely filthy with mildew spewing down the steps. Pretty sure there were minimal chemicals in the water as well.

The room was good sized, with a comfortable bed. Central location was very convenient. Some traffic noise from the downtown location. Decent breakfast included and fridge in the room. Pool and hot tub well maintained.

The room did not have air conditioning so it was 85 degrees the first night. Maintenance never showed up to help out. Finally got a new room the second night, air conditioning again did not work... 85 degrees. we got almost no sleep. I would have paid double to stay somewhere else... sorry, but its true..

We bought tickets for Charlie Daniels concert at Vetter Stone Ampithater, so I booked here. Manageable walk. Pool was fine, hot tub was cold, I mean cold, not just lukewarm. Breakfast was a typical scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, and fruit. A good place to stay if you're doing something in town.

We had to change rooms 3 times, the first time our key didn't work, we went to the desk and they opened the room only to find someone elses luggage in there. The second room we were assigned, the the room key wouldn't open that door either, so they reassigned us to a third room and that door finnally opened. The next day we went to the complimentery breakfast and had to wait in a long line to get food. That night when we got back to our hotel, the room key did not work again. I went to the front desk very unhappy.

Every thing was wonderful! Staff, Pool, Breakfast, Room. All was good.

staff is very professional and helpful. room clean and modern. internet was slow and kept going out

My mom, sister, and my two sons wanted a night away and this was the perfect place to stay. The pool area was large and we had the pool to ourselves. The room overlooked the pool so my mom was able to stay in the room to watch us swim. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

nice hotel - nice room but tiny - hot tub is cold on mondays

I decided on a weekend away to rejuvenate. I planned on utilizing the gym, hot tub, wifi, bar and bath. My only issue was the wifi did not workin my room. I was pretty sad about that. It worked fine in the restaurant. It did not work in the gym area either. I usually like to watch tv on my iPad when I run. It worked out fine because there was a good movie on the television. Just sad I couldn't catch up n my own shows. The shower and tub were nice, but never utilized the hot tub. Partly because the first night there was a ton of kids running around and partly because the tub bath was efficient. I would stay again, because location was perfect. I walked to the downtown area to antique stores and had other restaurants and grocery store within reach. Plus the free underground parking was a plus.

The hotel room was great. Clean and comfortable. Check-in was horrible! Only two people working and there were lines of people checking in...very slow. Parking lot was full, was tild to park at the library across the street only there were signs everywhere stating library parking only, vehicles will be towed at owners ecpense....didnt park there. Ended up parking at the Verizon's lot. Lounge and restaurant was a disaster! Horrible service, waited 45 minutes to get our drinks, had our food eaten before the drinks came. No water, no napkins, no silverware. ...but complained and got the food for free. Perfect for room only stay. I dont suggest going to the lounge or restaurant...even with a two for one drink ticket.

It ws located downtown mankato close to everywhere.rooms are clean and mice but the only problem was parking. There was a concert going on when we were staying and there was literally no parking spot. But overall, we liked it especially big pool and hotub.

Nice place, clean, decent free breakfast. And you can fall asleep to the whistle of a train going by....across the street....every hour....all night long. Along with the clang of the crossing alarm. Or maybe not fall asleep. Which was the main topic of discussion among guests the following morning at breakfast so we were not alone in that. Otherwise a very nice hotel, just don't plan on sleeping thru the night.

In town for a concert. Hotel is clean, comfortable, located near restaurants and bars. Staff is friendly. Our tv did not work in our room. After staff worked on it for one hour without success, discussed moving us to a different room; however, by now it was 1:30am. Manager on duty stating because we had not booked directly with the hotel but through third-party website, they could not offer any type of compensation. Manager did offer discount on future stay, which was appreciated. Overall, stay was good and would stay here again.

Great hotel for your money! I stayed in a two Queen room with three of my friends. We had plenty of room and it had a nice fridge and microwave! Staff was great too! Really friendly!
