Good bang for the buck. Noce location & staff was very nice.
Housekeeping needs better training and breakfast needs improvement (WITHOUT INCREASING COSTS TO THE HOTEL; THAT'S DEFINITELY POSSIBLE). The housekeeping lady (with 4 years experience) was eager to change 4 pillow covers (over my insistence that it is definitely NOT needed BUT definitely refused to clean up the floor of my little room even I stayed there for 4 nights! What a waste! Breakfast is frankly DREADFUL even though ingredients are there for a very decent brekfast.
It is a nice hospital with a small pool good for kids. I liked most sitting in their restaurant; the food is delicious and offered in good amount, drinks little expensive. The hotel in general is clean. The room I occupied was good sized; however the toilette room was small and narrow. What I hated most about the hotel is its location still it is not far from mall of asia. If I plan come back this will be for their restaurant.
Overall POOR and poorly run hotel; my room was not cleaned at all during my 4-day stay, and I noticed a reception full of rather inefficient receptionists. WIFI was very poor (often not at all, and very often almost unusable). Breakfast was a "terrible buffet (imagine "deep fried eggs", extremely weak "brewed coffee", really nothing appetizing and is only served until 9am --ridiculous). The pool (and pool area) are decent and made me forget about the shortcomings (to some extend). Plus I was very lucky to get a quiet room even though it had a window and enough sunlight (but no view). Many rooms I saw did not even have a window at all, and some other rooms face a very busy alley (thus very likely to be noisy). All in all I wish I had only booked two nights (enough for such a hotel even though I find that location is actually quite decent and not unsafe as some have reported).
Room with no window, sheets dirty, neighborhood dangerous for me and 3 year old son
The location of this hotel was perfect for my needs, only a few blocks away (walking distance) from my fiancé. He staff is second to none, always very polite and accommodating. Very professional and going above and beyond to help me.
While the amenities were few and the accommodations standard at best, the hotel was very convenient and accessible for my particular needs, and the staff was outstanding; providing excellent, friendly service, and providing services such as shuttle rides as well as bringing a fan up to my room when asked. The free breakfast was very welcome, and I used it everyday (although the serving hours could be adjusted a bit later, and they should try harder to keep the food warm as it got cold if you didn't get there when it was first served).
