The building looks old and don't look like a hotel. No lift to the 2nd floor where the tight not very welcoming old reception is located. Fortunately the shuttle driver brought my suitcase up. Then another male help brought my things to my room on the next floor. Airport pick up at terminal 2 -you have to call the hotel. Good I arrived 4:30pm. Check in was quick but then she was nowhere to be found. Good the male help saw me and he gave me Wifi password, showed me how to operate the shower and turned on the AC. Deluxe Room #1 spacious, bed comfortable but AC was so loud that I did not sleep the whole night. If I turn it off, room was very hot. Toilet has molds and mildew. If deluxe toilet looked like this, how much more in shared toilet. Breakfast simple and have 3 choices. For water and few groceries there's a neighborhood a block away behind PAL building. Not safe or even open very late at night. For shuttle to the airport the next day, it was an agony waiting even though 8:30am is a scheduled time. The cook was nice enough to bring my things down and even helped looked for the driver. It felt like there was no receptionist or any helper at all. Not worth the pay with my overnight layover or even for a very short stay. Absolutely no second time for me. Location is good for layover but provide a much better service and accommodation.
If you want a place to sleep near the Nino Aquino International Airport and don't want to pay for extras, this place is fine. I got the cheap room priced at 1200 pesos, or about 29 Canadian dollars. It includes a shuttle to the airport and a simple breakfast. This place is clean and quiet, and the staff are very pleasant. It has free WiFi in the lobby.
First the good thing about this is they offer free shuttle service which is very convenient. Second the location is just 10-15 minutes away from airport terminals. Accommodation with free breakfast. We booked this thru agoda.com. wherein rate is cheaper than their rates. If you are staying only for one night and no big luggage to bring this is already good but If you have big suitcases this is really not good to stay because they dont have elevator or lift. You have to carry it with yourself and the stairs is very narrow. The reception is friendly but they are really unorganized. During the check in they will ask you what breakfast you would like to have the next day, so you can choose from the menu BUT they next day, breakfast were completely different from what we ordered. So the room, Rooms are spacious with cold and hot shower. No toilet paper given, you have to request but reception is not 24/7 i think cos no matter how many times we bell in the reception area there were no people. The bed is ok but NOT CLEANED. They were hair and stains. We tried to complain but there were no one in the reception area. The water goes out when there were other people from other rooms using too. So the next day, breakfast. They have small and hot breakfast area. So the night before we already organized the breakfast we would like to have but the woman there asked if it's ok we will have rice instead of bread. We ordered Bread with brewed coffee and sausage with egg. The woman suggested rice because all the bread in all the bakeries are sold. So we said but we have already ordered this a night before so she said she will try again to check the bakery and after 15minutes she was able to buy bread. We know that they are just lazy to get out and get some bread. So they prepared the Breakfast and we were all surprised of what we got. 2 pcs of bread, 1 fried egg, embotido and other got spam and 3 in 1 coffee. Where are the sausages and brewed coffee??That is not our order. So we said it is ok but this is worth reviewing for so that other people who wants to check in here would have an idea of the service and amenities. The transfer went all good.
Chose to stay here because we had a really early flight at 5am, and it was great for that purpose. Airport was only 5 mins away by car. However, there was nothing else nearby. There is a mom-and-pop shop downstairs if you need snacks or water. Although they indicated free airport transfer, it is only at fixed timings (for some reason there was none near 3am and the hotel insisted we should leave at 2am to have 3hour before departure, which is ridiculous for an off-peak timing flight). We had to pay additional fees for the timing we wanted The room was basic but spacious and clean; towels are provided. There was nothing on the TV, so don't count on it. The air-con was one of the older kinds and was really noisy. For the price we paid, definitely value for money.
Basically the only good thing is the location, right next to the airport. The room was clean, but it was very very noisy. There is a factory right next to it. The bathroom was very small and the towels in terrible condition.
I needed a budget place to sleep with a short layover. Comfortable, simple, nice toiletry package waiting for you in the room. Perfect for what I needed, also complimentary airport pickup. The delightful family running the place.
We were coming into Manila at 10 pm and had a 5 am flight - and decided to crash at Jorivim as opposed to spending the night at the airport. In addition to being a stone's throw away from the airport, they provide a shuttle pick up and drop off service, which is extremely convenient when travelling at odd hours. Rooms are basic, sufficient for a nights' sleep, and WiFi is available in all rooms.
Very basic B&B. Don't expect big things other than a bed and a shower if you book a deluxe room, otherwise shared bathroom. Very close from the airport. It is noisy in the morning as next to the main road. It fit the purpose as we arrived late at night to Manila and we were leaving in the morning to catch up another flight. Breakfast simple with no choice, just rice, eggs and a sausage. Very bad coffee. Good service though as we ordered a beer when we arrived at 23.30h and they went to buy it for us outside and charged us normal price.
They picked us up from Manila airport at 6pm and took us back at 2:30am that night. There weren't any restaurants open that were walking distance so they helped us order pizza and even made breakfast for us at 2am. The front desk staff were friendly. We did not sleep in the rooms but played cards in the lobby until we had to leave. Wifi worked.
We stayed here as it's a good stopover point before flying from Manila. The staff are great, our flight was delayed by two hours and they were still there waiting for us, we didn't have to try contact them to find them or anything. They took us to and back from the airport free of charge. The staff is also really hospitable. Our flight was extremely early in the morning and they still made us an early breakfast. The room is nothing special. It's just a bed in a room. However, it's got an air conditioner and clean sheets so there's not much else you really need. It's a good idea for just a stop over
